I own several fragrances by Tom Ford...Noir is my newest, and it is my favorite so far. I'm no fragrance snob and I really can't tell you about top notes, middle and base notes. What I can tell you that it does evolve from first application, to drying, and onward. My first thought after initial application was that is was slightly peppery...but then rapidly changed into a light delicious vanilla. It eventually became this wonderfully clean fragrance with very sophisticated and long lasting presence. It was never overbearing...just the right intensity. I'm a guy and this is a perfect men's fragrance. A little pricey, but well worth it. While wearing Noir I've been stopped by ladies (and guys) and asked what fragrance I have on...they liked it that much. Tom Ford...you ROCK!

This is one of Toms Ford's best products the scent is soft and last all day it's worth the price and I would recommend you give it a try.

I've been wearing Noir Eau de parfum for about 3 years now. I just bought my 4th and probably last bottle. I can't remember what I paid for the first one, but the last one was $130. It's now almost $200. While I like the way it smells and have gotten compliments (the best are from one's wife), it's become too expensive for me.
