His room is very small and it gives him more room for play. Only thing that wasnt great was the light strip. The stickiness wasnt that great and it fell off almost immediately.. so looking for alternative lighting for underneath.

My 5 year old loves the new bed, and the new "fort" under the bed! I was able to put the bed together in 2 hours, with "help" from my 5yo and 2 dogs. The cupboard and shelf units, however, took 3 hours after everyone went to bed. The instructions were missing a few steps, and some of the boards did not have an identifying sticker. I got the cupboard put together and was about to put on the final door, when I realized I had the side piece for the shelf unit, not the cupboard. So I had to take that side off and put the correct one on. Putting the mattress on, I thought the bed was too big, but after adding the blankets on everything is nice and snug. It would be a 5 star review if the instructions were more accurate, and the boards properly identified.

Is this bed as pictured and described? Yes. Does it take 4+ hours with two people to assemble? Also yes. Definitely a full day activity and will make you debate sending it back, but my son loves it so I have to give it some bonus points there. You will want a drill for this, not just a normal screw driver. 5 stars for being what it says, -2 for making me lose my sanity.

Our son loves this bed. The space underneath is perfect for him to relax and have imagination play. We put glow in the dark stars in on the wall under the bed section also. The LED lights that come with it are perfect as a night light also or just to create a vibe. Really a great bed for the price point. The shelves make it easy to store toys also.
