I cut to fit with my hair. I have only used 3 so far (until they wear out). They were easy to straighten on the lowest setting. They are starting to fray at the ends. I wanted to dye my hair but didn’t want to actually dye my hair. So I looked these up. AND THEY ARE AWESOME! I was actually really shocked when I felt how soft these are! These are not the best hair extensions for everyday use, but they are fun to play dress up with. I had paid about $10 when I bought them for my daughter. They come folded in half so they have that fold half way, but I didn't bother to see if they could be flat ironed.
