But if my toddler do urinate in it one or two times he's typically stays dry. They are easy to slip on and slip off, is not messy unless he poops but they do stay in place. It covers his whole bottom and most of his front so when he does have an accident it doesn't ruin his clothes. The material is soft on the outside and on the inside and in between the fabric is the plastic that keeps it from seeping through to his clothes. They still look new so we can hold on to them for our next child. He was potty trained pretty fast using these types of underwear. Helps with learning the difference between wet and dry. Tick and the most absorbent out of all training underwear we have tried. The only thing I would causion is to be mindful, leg holes are not stretchy so they may not fit and be used enough time by a chunkier toddler but worked perfectly for mine
