UPDATE: The AAA batteries lasted a whole 3 days. I tried another brand of battery and the same thing. So unless you want to change batteries every 3 days I wouldn't buy this. It does have motion sensor, which I did notice it was going off and on, but I don't know how long it stayed on once it was on. I have a potty light that runs on 4 AA batteries that has motion sensor and I change those batteries maybe every 3-4 months. So I was expecting this target light to have a longer life. I tossed it. Not worth it when you have to literally buy batteries all the time. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was worried after I bought the item as it stated that it wouldn't be here until late September to mid-October (bought the item August 1st). I was a bit bummed as I needed this for my kiddo who has all of a sudden decided peeing all over the bathroom was an option. I was willing to wait though. I was super surprised that it was here by mid-August. So it was super quick and efficient shipping. Packaging was interesting, but I get it. After opening the shipping bag, it was enclosed in a plain black box. I get that this is for discreet shipping, but it was in a bag so it wasn't really needed. Upon opening the box, we popped open the battery compartment and installed the batteries. Easy peasy. Of course, with any child, you have to go through the options of which picture to project. The pictures were not the ones that were in the listing. There was a target with an arrow, Nemo, poop emoji, and a face emoji holding a rose in its teeth. Switching between the pictures is done by sliding over a switch. The switch mechanism is a little rough. I had to make sure that my child knew that we would have to keep it on one picture for a while before switching to a new one because I don't want the switch to break. Sometimes it stops between pictures or tries to slide down. Other than that it is worth the price you pay for it. It definitely makes peeing a bit more fun. I am hoping that this will spur some interest in the younger one to potty train soon.

I have a going on 3 year old son. He is potty trained but TERRIBLE at aiming. I bought this in hopes of it helping him have something to aim for. The back taping is not strong and it fell in the toilet after an hour of being put on. I used duct tape like I saw another reviewer recommend. It has stayed in place after doing that. The light does not completely go into the toilet but also reflects a little on the seat no matter which way I turn it. I am not sure if its our toilet's weird shape or just the concept of this item. It causes him to hit the seat too sometimes when trying to hit the whole target. Also, the review pictures are wrong. His does not have a disney slide, but instead boring pictures. One is a poop emoje. I dont know why but I hate the poop emoje so it just annoys me that I got that instead of the disney picture he would have liked more. I think it was too high priced for what I got, but I am not going to bother returning it. I will continue using it probably in hopes it helps even a little bit.

For what it is, it is overpriced. However, our young boys LOVED it, and having less messes more than made up for the price.... until the adhesive gave way without us knowing and our youngest repeatedly flushed the toilet. I don't know exactly how, but this thing got lodged somewhere between the bowl and the flange. After several failed attempts, i removed the toilet to see if i could unclog it from the drain (yeah, disgusting). Short answer: it wasn't happening. So now the boys have a brand new toilet and no fancy projector. Gave 3 stars because it was great while it lasted.

I was excited to get this as I am transitioning my son away from the Frog wall urinal and to use the big potty exclusively. However once I installed it ... you can't see the pictures! They are just color blobs at the bottom of the toilet. I have tried moving it around but nothing has worked. Seriously save your money and try something different. Huge disappointment. :(

The projected pictures are not at all as pictured. There is no target, we got a fish, a rose (?!), a bow and arrow and a poop emoji . It's something to aim at but not an actual target. We've only had it a couple of hours so I can't really speak to batter life but I suspect it won't be great. Oh well.

Originally chose this as the photo shows that the light is a bulls eye target. There are actually a few different character lights but the bulls eye is not one. The light is not a bright as hoped either.

The sticker gave way on the back of the seat and it fell into the toilet after a week. The batteries started to corrode and it is now useless to me.
