We bought the car , it was easy to assemble but it started have charge issues. The first charge lasted a while but every subsequent charge dropped by the time I reached 5 , it does NOT start. I had to open the car up again and reinstall all the sockets , check the electronics one by one if they were working. So as result , I ended up spending significant time on troubleshooting. I needed to order two cars one for each of my two grandchildren that up due to visit me. I knew I should order the cars early just in case there's a problem. Well lo and behold each car requires two boxes while the shipment showed up an entire week early I was missing one box of wheels. So here we are Saturday maybe 8:00 at night I send an email through Amazon to Tobbi, explaining the situation. When I woke up on Sunday morning while having my coffee I wanted to make sure that my posting had gone off crazy as it may seem the company reached out to me and assured me that the second set of wheels would be showing up that day Sunday via FedEx. And they were right they did show up making me a very happy person. But what is over the top in relationship to service is they actually called Sunday evening to make sure that the wheels showed up. After reading previous reviews, I decided to purchase because most reviews were good about the product itself, even though pretty much everyone said that it took all long time to put together & had poorly written instructions. My husband and I were able to put it together in 1 hour and 15 minutes - and truthfully we would have probably been finished a little earlier, but our 11 year old decided to help & so we took it a little slower to teach him a few things. The instructions are actually very detailed, but yes, poorly written. There are typos and they often call the pieces in the written instructions something different from what they are listed as in the numbered content list. What served us the best were the accompanying pictures. Each picture showed you the number of the items needed for that step - so were just compared the number of each item to the number listed in the content list. Another helpful hint - the written instructions didn't tell you that you need to start with the car upside down, but you can tell in the first picture that you do. Also, when putting the front axle on, it doesn't tell you to make sure to slide the hole in the frame through the steering wheel column that comes out of the bottom of the car, but make sure you do that. The instructions don't really tell you when the connect all the wires, so you just have to do it as you go, and use common sense. It also recommends charging for 18 hours prior to first use - so it's been hooked up & charging since we put it together yesterday. We will update after we give it to my son & he is able to use it for a little while. So far, we are really pleased, and happy that it was not as difficult or time consuming to put together as other reviews stated. **The personalized license plates was purchased separately on Amazon** ... show more

The instructions were not very explanatory for someone who doesn't know what certain parts are. It wasn't very hard but did a little longer because I had to really think about the mechanics and how they work in order to understand where the parts go. The pictures are there to help but kind of hard to see. After getting the car put together and charged it was great! The battery lasted about an hour to an hour and a half. I feel the battery could have a longer usage time. I charged for 8 hours as instructed. The screw for the door did fall off during our first use and i had to take the door apart in order to figure out where the screw fell from. After finding the part, i realized the screw was put in upside down with nothing keeping it place. So i had to improvise what i had at home to keep it from falling out again. Some of the places where the screws go had no hole so i had to puncutre a hole with the screw. The car does have suspensions on it which is awesome! The radio works fine, the shift knob works great. The steering wheel is extremely loose, but the lights and sound work great! I am pretty satisfyed with it and my daughter LOVES it! We decorated ours with stickers! ... show more

Wheels were apparently shipped separately and did not arrive in time for my granddaughters birthday party. I'm highly pissed off as I ordered this 2 weeks before the party date!!! The actual part we have built is cute though.

Got this for our grandson’s 3rd bday. It was his first motorized toy so we selected one with a remote. The remote does not work! A couple of the lights do not work. Started a return but the boxes are already gone. It would be too much trouble to take back apart and ship back. Putting it together was difficult also. The lights that work are great. The sound effects of the motor and the music player work as they should. ... show more

Update : jeep won’t turn on. We have had it less than 6 months Customer services only solution was to pay for the parts ( we had already bought them and it’s still not turning on ) or a partial refund even tho there is a one year warranty
