The media could not be loaded. I like the setup, it’s a simple design, note to the manufacturer the brass inlet isn’t centered which could be the cause of (burn back creating insufficient heat) my burner problem which is easily fixed by blowing in the inlet side like I did. Ive ran a full tank now and Im pretty happy with this. You get everything to get started melting. Theres no hassle and its easy to use. I wanted something I didnt have to make myself and this was perfect. The instructions were clear and simple with detailed pictures. I recommend this.

I fully expected to screw up my first few attempts but that isn't what happened at all. I got great results faster than expected. Easy to use. Directions were redundant after a few minutes but I don't blame a company selling something that gets to dangerous levels of heat. Two minor things I would love the manufacturer to incorporate to make it perfect. First the wing nut screw that holds the gas inlet tube in stripped out almost instantly. Just weld a nut over the threads to extend them and that is solved. Second, I would love a source to replace the consumables. If its out there I cannot find it. ... show more

I’ve tried several times to melt different types of metal and the best results I’ve had has been discolored metal. I read and followed the instructions as well as letting it burn for far longer than the suggested time. I don’t know if I just got a lemon or what, but I regret buying this.

This furnace came with all of the needed pieces to get smelting(except propane and the metal to melt of course). I would recommend this as a good place to smart smelting at home. Perfect for Aluminum, Copper, Brass, etc. Personally I would recommend purchasing a second crucible and mold and separate them by metal.
