This Furnace is an excellent way to get started with smelting metal at home. With all the needed accessories, it is super easy to get started right away. I would recommend this size, 12kg, as a good starting size. While you dont have to use a 12 kg crucible all the time, being able to fit all the way up to it is a nice option to have. ... show more

    • Burner doesn’t perform well for copper

It’s over all ok but had to switch out the burner it took forever on its max psi to melt copper bought a better burner from another company it’s for sure not 250000 btus more like 50k or less

Smelter runs great and melts everything quickly. It was also delivered quickly which is great. The gloves are kinda weird fitting but I have other ones so no big deal melting metal is fun.
