    • Beware: Defective VVT Sprocket gear
I installed the timing chains, guides, gears and VVT sprocket with no problem following manufacturers recommended procedures. After installation the check engine light illuminated and set code P1349. This code indicates VVT (variable valve timing) problem. Prior to installing this kit there was no check engine light or trouble codes. The problem was caused by the defective VVT Sprocket included in this kit. I had to do reinstall the old VVT sprocket which corrected the trouble code. The aftermarket VVT sprocket in this kit is straight garbage. The other parts in the kit seemed ok but beware if you try to use the VVT sprocket because you may have to do the work twice. ... show more
