Fit great! Not very ‘midrise’ for short torso girlies.

I love the fit of the jeans and the way they stretch. For reference, I am 5’2 160lbs and curvy on the bottom. I normally wear a size 12 and was able to fit in a size 9 very comfortably. My only issue is I have a short torso so I tend to gravitate toward ‘mid-rise’ jeans because high rise comes up under my boobs. Which is annoying. Unfortunately, I am returning these because they aren’t very ‘mid rise’- they fit super high like the high rise. Blah. Oh well- I’ll keep trying until I find some that fit the ‘mid-rise’ I’m looking for.
