This toy is a big improvement over the older tall style that had to be plugged into a USB port or fed batteries and was rather noisy. The addition of a combined fast & slow mode is a big hit with my feline overlords, and the small size makes it easy to place and adjust for different areas. You can even stick it on a window, but I haven't tried that yet. It charges fairly quickly and the charge lasts for quite a while. You can't use the toy while it's charging, but I don't view that as a drawback.

This keeps my cats occupied when I'm working and don't want to be disturbed. They enjoy playing with it. One of the things I liked about it was the suction cup so I can place it on a window to give them options about where the light goes. So far the suction cup seems to keep a good seal on the window.

Our cats love chasing a laser light. The handheld one with a battery never lasted very long before needing a replacement battery. We love that this is on an automatic cycle and can be recharged with a USB cable. Our cats now know when it is time and sometimes come to wait for it. They seem to really enjoy the exercise and consistency. Highly recommend!

My daughter has one for her cat, cat loves it. We got one for our dog, dog loved it too much and he became addicted. Had to limit his time with it but it works well. Runs for 10 min, then rests for 90 min.

Just set this up today and my two love it; the suction cup could work a bit better though. The movements of the laser shapes are different from the ones I make with the handheld toy so my two get a different pattern and experience. Definitely worth the money and hope it will last indefinitely.

Best toy for the cat! This is the cat’s favorite toy, but the longer she has it the more she wishes it had additional patterns. It is plugged in all the time because rechargeable batteries die quickly.
