I first noticed my friend’s nails and was amazed at how great they looked and how well they held up, especially since she’s very hard on her hands. When I asked who did them, she said she did them at home with Five Angeles nails from Amazon. I was super skeptical because nothing seems to stay on my nails—not even salon gel lasts more than a day or two before chipping or peeling. I tried them anyway, and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been using these nails (with their gel glue) for over a year, and I haven’t been to a salon since. The nails are thick, which I love because my hands get a lot of wear. I manage a restaurant, so my hands are constantly in water or bumping into dishes, boxes, moving tables and chairs—my hands really go through a lot! Even with all that, these nails stay on 3–4 weeks before they start to lift. Not kidding! The quality of the nails and their glue is absolutely superb. These nails do not bend or split—they’re strong, durable, and built to last. The gel glue is thick and high quality too. I prep and lightly file both my natural nails and the inside of the press-ons. I apply a dot of glue to the middle of my natural nail and another dot to the inside of the press-on, then glue and cure each nail one at a time. For each individual nail, I hold it under the lamp with pressure from my other hand for 60 seconds to ensure any air bubbles are out and stay out. After that, without the assistance of my other hand, I cure the nail again for another 60 seconds to make sure it’s fully cured and secure. If any glue seeps out, I just file it down with an electric nail drill—it’s quick and easy. These are the only nails I use now, and I’m a customer for life. I just wish they had solid colors in the tipex style for lazy days—but until then, I use gel polish with their nails and glue. If you were skeptical like I was, give them a try. They’re a total game-changer!

Overall, this is a great product as someone who used to try to do acrylic nails myself this is a dream come true. I did cut mine down because they were long, but it was not difficult with a nail cutter. (Not clippers). It does feel a little loose. This is only day one with them on, but they’re not moving. When doing the application to Nails were not completely attached, so make sure when you’re pressing down you’re also angling your hand up so it’s holding onto the cuticle also. I have a wedding this weekend to attend so we shall see how they hold up Update: when you are doing your nails with these be generous with the glue and trim down your real nails a little bit. Make sure that you hold it straight for a couple seconds under the UV light and then it will remain where you put it. I’ve had these on almost a week and overall they’re holding up nicely they don’t feel loose. I did have to takeoff the first set that I did but I think that was more user error because I was focusing more on trying to make sure it wasn’t lifting from the end of my nail rather than making sure it was tight by the cuticle. I would definitely recommend for beginners

I absolutely love these nails!!! They are insanely strong because they mimic acrylic nails NOT SOFT GEL. The glue is freaking awesome and is my favorite of the UV gel nail glues by far. You get a lot of it and it is thick, so it doesn’t move around once you place it on the nail. It smooshes out nicely without bubbles and your nail actually stays put. If it doesn’t, then the nail isn’t fitting your natural nail properly. Once you have the nail on it’s sooooo freaking sturdy. I have had my first set on for several days now and the nails aren’t going anywhere. I’ve shortened some all they way down to what would be a short oval. I have left the thickeness on some and thinned others out. The stability is still very solid on the tip and the apex. They ARE PRE MADE for flatter nail beds for those without a well defined nail curve, side to side and top bottom. HOWEVER, DO NOT let that stop you from getting these. There’s a How To Video on their listing which will show you how to carve them out to fit your nail. Also, check out YT for instructions. I do not have flat nails and it only took an extra five minutes per hand to adjust them to fit my nail beds. I am really tough on my nails and these are perfect. If you want a HARD nail, with a HIGH APEX, these are for you. If you want a hard nail with a pre-made apex, are willing to file these down for a thinner surface, they will still give you excellent stability.

This set is awesome! They are easy to use and comes with everything. I love love love the set. My only issue was on the uv light there are 4 little bulbs. Mine only had 3 working. I let them know and they immediately sent out a new one the next day. Great product, great service.

OMG these are just amazing! I can't believe how perfectly they come out with no fuss at all. And they are STRONG. I don't leave them at full length, but I don't take much off - just cut slightly below the number imprint. The free edge is still perfectly fine and not too thick. For those who prefer much shorter, because of the built in apex you would probably need to file your free edges a bit. I've heard they are going to start having short and medium lengths coming. When I think of all the hours I've spent sculpting acrylics then file, file, filing I can't believe how much better these are with so much less fuss! Of course follow instructions and do your prep. I got the set that comes with the little light, glue and base coat and would highly recommend it as then you have all you need. The only additional thing I did was to brush on a dehydrator and let dry completely before proceeding with the base. I love the little light as it makes it easier to fix each nail in place, then I use my larger lamp for finishing. It's not often that someone actually does build a "better mousetrap" but these people have definitely done it! If you're considering this system, go for it! I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

These are super thick nail tips, very durable, but too bulky for my liking, also the nail glue smell is awful, and never goes away, and no matter what I do the nails start to lift after a day or two. Also the mini-UV LAMP that came with it broke after my 3rd use. The usb part just broke off inside.

I've been seeing these now for a while being on YouTube and such I finally broke down and bought some I got the smaller of the kit but it came with the glue the base and a little UV lamp it lived up to the hype very very happy with it especially that I'm a non-professional and sometimes get overzealous with the cuticle area so for me these were perfect the lane had to file them down contemplated between the long ones cuz they already make him short but watching everybody else's reviews the short ones but I think a little bit too squared off for me on the lower part it goes on the nail bed so I took the longer route and then filed them down easiest peasy so whatever you've heard they're great I couldn't grow in there to save my life even when I was pregnant I have some flat and some extra crooked nail beds because I have deficiencies however following their steps you're staying on perfect no complaints anybody who wants to try again we try totally recommend it it's worth everything to me stay blessed.
