Kids got these for Christmas, and we've been having a blast with them. Both the laser blaster and the chest are active targets. So you can play with or without the chest portion. There are different firing modes, even a simulated rocket launcher which is a blast with the sounds it produces. My boys are 7 and 4, and we've been running around the house doing "battles". Get some rechargeable batteries, you're going to need them as my kids use them all the time. They are holding up really well.

Extremely durable, works great, batteries seem to last forever, and the boys love them. The only negative is the chest strap. A little aggravating to figure out but I made it work. (Directions went out with the garbage)

So I bought this item excited for my nephew to play. I took it out and was really excited for him to try it. With an impressive range of a 150ft me and him could run a good ways away from each other and still not have to worry about being out of rangee from each other. Will say the only con would be the way the chest target straps on are cheap made. Ended up using a better strap to keep it on but after that we had fun. If your looking to have a good time then strap up and take off and play war or whatever your imagination throws at you. Will get the kids out and involved in exercise and playing like I grew up doing. Guns are little bigger then a pistol which makes it easy to maneuver.

I purchased these for a birthday gift for my 8 year old nephew. He and my husband ran around the house and even to the park playing with these fod hours! He even brought it to his grandmother's house and played with his cousins who loved them as well.
