Hours of laughter. That’s exactly what I got when I bought this and gave it to my two grand nephews. They had a blast with it. I highly recommend this for several reasons one the foam is out of nurse, material, soft, colorful, and easy to play with. it’s very simple. You put the Rockets on a simple cylinder to and stomp on the little bladder And the Rockets fly in the air. This is seriously lotta fun for those kids. I can’t believe we laughed so hard they had a blast. This is cheap and expensive toy. It was actually surprisingly very durable and it still lasts for something that was that inexpensive to last for six months it’s really pretty incredible , I highly recommend this toy if for anything because there’s a lot of laughter and a lot of fun for kids. I bought the Stomp Rocket Jr. Glow Kit as a fun gift for my three year old son. The Amazon reviews were over the top positive and the price tag was low--so I thought why not? This item has far exceeded my expectations. This is my favorite toy ever, and my son is in complete agreement. The idea is that you stomp on the stomp box to send one of four foam rockets flying through the air. It is so easy, addictive, and fun. The stomp box is soft so even my three year old can send rockets hurtling 50 feet or more into the air. The air rushes through a flexible tube that you put the foam rocket on and sends it way higher than you think you're going to send it. The whole set up is connected to a plastic stand of three pieces that you snap together. Only a single wing nut attachment (included)is needed to hold it all together. You can angle the tube to send the rocket straight up, horizontally, or on a variety of trajectories. The foam rockets are very durable. They are soft so I wouldn't let a dog or cat chew them, but they have been indestructible in my son's overeager hands and have lasted damage-free through thousands of launches. My son is still working on coordination and has tripped over the stand on multiple occasions so it does come apart rather easily, but it just snaps back together--no big deal. I'd like to see an improvement in future versions, but I don't see a reason to downgrade the rating for this small inconvenience. We played with it for around an hour and a half the first time that we used it. If you have a child this young, then you know the miracle of keeping a child entertained that long. It is an outdoor toy for sure, but I'm thinking we'll get use out of it in a hallway or children's playroom during stormy days. I hope you'll order one if you are on the fence about it. Everybody loves these things -- the kids, the grownups. They are just plain fun. Kids as young as maybe 4, definitely 5, can stomp the launcher effectively. They make great gifts even if you don't know the giftee very well, because who doesn't like to make things fly by stomping? And I can tell you from experience that the box fits perfectly into a large gift bag with room to spare for some tissue paper sticking out all festive and stuff. But get a set or two for yourself, too. As others have written, the stand is the weak point; it falls apart easily and the pieces tend to get lost. But we find the set is just as much fun without the stand entirely, just hand-held. If you like the stand, it's easy to MacGyver it so it stays together better -- I recommend zip ties. You are highly likely to want a pack of refill rockets because the things get lost: stuck in trees, on roofs, beyond fences, etc. -- they often fly a lot farther than you think they will, and they're also light enough to get windblown somewhere new. They're more durable than you'd think, since they're made of a lightweight foam, but tend to fail eventually either by getting stepped on and bent (they won't fly straight then) or by losing fins (then they can still fly, just not as well). It's also helpful just to have extras so you don't have to "reload" as often (that is, go gather up the ones you've launched). If you get two sets, it's nice to know that the rockets are a good soft foam that won't hurt anyone if aimed at people in any sort of battle, though of course we'd never do that. We only aim them *away* from people, don't we? The rockets are too soft to hurt windows and the like, too. ... show more

Bought 3 of these for my grandchildren (ages 3 to 8) at Christmas. They have LOVED it! Powered by a child's own energy! Here's what you need to know: the launcher comes with 3 foam rockets. These lightweight rockets get lost on the roof, or over the wall, and also are prone to tearing with extended or rough use. It is worth the extra expense to buy the Ultra Rocket refill 2 packs. They are sturdier, and heavy enough to not blow over the wall or on the roof, they go straight up and come straight down. In the months since, 2 of the launchers have broken when the kids trip over or step on the vertical launch tube, so it no longer points directly upward. Because this is such a wonderful inexpensive toy, I have since purchased 2 more of the launchers, and 3 of the Ultra Refill rocket packs. This keeps the kids busy for hours! And lets them burn up all that energy! ... show more
