Love this 2 pack of bread containers. Perfect height to fit my pantry shelves. Versatile storage for items that need an airtight seal. Big enough to hold a large value box/bag of cereal. I am going to use one for dry pasta and the other for rice and pasta bagged mixes. I also like that the containers are clear, easy to monitor amount on-hand and find what you need. Label says they are dishwasher and freezer safe. I will wash by hand since they are large enough to reach into all the way to the bottom. We have been using a cake saver to keep breads fresh after making them, and I have been looking for a solution that takes less counter space. I saw these bread savers and decided to give them a chance. They work well with most breads (particularly store-bought breads), but the tapered shape is less than optimal in some cases. At their heart, these are generic lock-n-lock containers that are elongated and are intended for keeping breads fresh. These come in a two-pack so there's room for two loaves - perfect for someone who makes homemade breads. These lock nicely and they keep a good seal, so they will keep bread fresher for a little longer. The tapered shape is an issue, though. If a loaf of bread is too large (meaning, if it rose well), it ill not fit all the way into the end of the container and there is a lot of wasted space. This isn't an issue with most store-bought breads which tend to be very uniform in size. These are nice bread containers and I do like them, though there's room for a little improvement when it comes to the shape. These are really nice. They will hold many things besides bread and you can see what's in them because they are clear. The top clamps on securely with 4 clips (one on each side), at least one of mine does. Two boxes are included, my second box was missing 2 side locking clips. These clips snap on and off easily enough that I was able to position these 2 clips across from each other. I don't know if the seal will be as good so I will be careful what i put in that one. You can fit bread of all shapes and sizes into these things! I was able to fit 1.5 baguettes in there earlier this week and now plan on trying to fit 3 loaves of bread.

I habe 2 kittens that try to get up on the counter and steal the loaf of bread. These are great for stopping them. Very heavy duty. The lids fit on very tight almost too tight to get off. They actually fit a full loaf of sandwich bread even. The other one I used for hamburger and hot dog buns

We had been storing the bread in the oven because we didn't have enough room in the cabinets. I saw these and decided to order them. I like them, but for the life of me, I can not figure out why they are cone shaped. I've never seen a loaf of bread that is smaller on one end than it is on the other. We keep these standing up on the counter and the bread loafs slide down and get a little squished on the bottom. They also seem a little unnecessarily tall. If I designed these, they would be a couple of inches shorter and the same width on the bottom as the are at the top. They do latch tightly and keep my cats out of the bread. ... show more

These bread boxes are a great idea can also be used for things like croissants, etc. but the beauty is being able to keep your loaf of bread fresh for a longer while. My whole wheat is a little wide so it doesn't quite reach all the way to the end because it's narrower at the bottom, but otherwise most loafs should fit fine. It works well and the lids snap on tight but unfortunately one of my boxes came damaged - chipped at the edge where the latch would hook around, and also the latch of one of the covers as well. I must say that I think the latches feel like they could be sturdier, but I didn't even use this lid and the latch was already split as in the photo. So, one of my boxes - it seemingly can still be secure even with the damage, but it will probably have a shorter "shelf life" if the damaged parts get worse. Otherwise, it's a great idea - wish it was more durable where it counts? ... show more
