Please note these shoes are AT LEAST a whole size too small. I first saw these on an Instagram ad directly from the Timberland website but they had been all out of the wide sizes with no sign of restock. I found wide here on Amazon and for about $10 cheaper. I don't particularly have wide feet but am finding as I get older, I prefer wide shoes when I can help it. I have been confined to sneakers all summer due to knee surgery recovery. Now that fall is approaching, the sneakers are really killing my outfits. These are a stylish shoe with a flatish profile as I can't do heels or huge platforms right now. The sizing issue aside, they seem well made. I got the tan ones which wasn't my first choice but I'm sure it'll grow on me. It better at least given they're $100+ !!! I previously ordered the same pair in black. They are a tad snug but stretch after wearing once or twice. When I received my first pair, I considered ordering a half size up. I am very glad that I did not because they would’ve been too big and my heels would slip out of the shoe when walking (after they stretched). This shoe is heavier with a bulky rubber sole unlike doc martens heavier plastic sole (for comparison purposes). I get compliments when worn. They’re such cute shoes and I wear them all the time! True to size and best worn with thick socks or they can slip off a bit since the shoes are a bit weighted. You won’t have to worry about this at all if you have naturally wide feet.
