Read reviews before ordering. First, the boots are cute, more girly than bulky others. The length is true to size. They are new leather so they are tight, but I walked around the house wearing 2 pair of thick socks, not comfortable, but it gave the stretch and break in needed. They next day the boots got even looser and the toe break loosened quickly. They are warm and comfortable but I wouldn't do a 5 mile hike in them. They are more cushioned than my old Timberlands which won't wear out. The grip is also good. I took a star because of the tightness and hoping they will loosened even more. UPDATE: I did do a 5+ mile hike in these and they were fine. If wearing a thick sock I would go up a half size but I found thinner socks and they work fine. ... show more

I’m picky and I picked out these Timberlands for my not so outdoorsie wife - We did so for our trip to Alaska. She loved Alaska and the Timberlands served her well and were a bonus. My sneaky way of getting her on more adventures trips. These great boots will last for many years.

Bought this for a hike, so didn’t have time to break it. Wore to hike through puddles , slippery rocks and gravel . Not even one slip through the 9 mile hike ! Also my feet stayed super dry. Most of all I don’t have any blisters, sore spots on my feet from wearing a new shoe out of the box. Also light weight if you care about how heavy your boots are! I have never own a timberland item before and it Really surprised me in a good way! Can’t comment on durability yet. Since I have used them only for 2 hikes ( one five and one 9 Mile). ... show more
