I work in a large-equipment rental center so I'm on my feet all day, with a lot of walking and climbing heavy machinery, in all sorts of weather. After one day of torrential rains it took my sneakers 48 hours to dry out, so I decided I needed a pair of waterproof shoes. I wanted all black, with leather uppers, and ankle support, and these were the only boot I could find that had all three. They did chafe my heels the first time wearing them but I slapped some adhesive bandages on there for a week and now they're great. They are comfy standing up in them and I feel secure climbing on the equipment. I did replace the laces with some longer, flat laces because they are easier for me to pull tight. I haven't worn them in a downpour yet so I don't know how they will hold up to deep puddles but the shallow puddles have been no problem. I liked them so much I bought a second pair and they are just as awesome, but again, I replaced the laces because the ones they came with were hideous. ... show more

These are definitely comfy and they fit well. Don’t love that the toe looks so small, but they’re decent boots. Though, they already had creases and scuff marks in em when they arrived. Not anything major, but they were supposed to be new so they shouldn’t have shown any signs of wear and tear.

I’ve had these boots for two years and they are still absolutely the best and most comfortable things I’ve ever owned! They are beginning to make a squeaky sound when walking but I think that’s because of the insoles being loose & dirty as I work on a farm.
