The weight of the shoes is a little heavy not too bad. But the top of the shoe was a little tight on me. I sized up from 8.5 to a 9 wide to make sure a thick sock would fit. But the tightness was a bit much for me. Hope it works out for someone else.

I ordered these boots in the wide width, as I prefer more space inside my cold weather boots for heavier socks. I did receive wide width according to the interior label, however these boots are EXTREMELY narrow and pinch the fronts of my feet on either side. For reference, I typically wear narrow width birkenstocks, and these boots were squeezing my feet. I had to return them. It's unfortunate they're so ill-fitting, as they are a nice looking boot and seem to be very well made. ... show more
