I want them to last and I want them to look very sharp and these did MORE than the trick I like them so much I thought about buying a second pair for when these wear out Because I don’t want them selling out and me not being able to get another pair. These were certainly pre-worn, but the wear was negligible and would appear after proper use anyway. My favorite pair of winter boots after my old ones started leaking.

I love these boots. The 6.5 D width fits perfectly -- I love Timberland's wide width, and wish more of their boots were available in it -- and they are both sturdy and fashionable, great for commuting on foot and public transportation. The only negative is that the lining fabric is a bit rough, so be sure to wear socks. One great source for socks long enough not to creep southward in these boots is Sockdreams.com -- [...] -- they carry over-the-knee and thigh-high socks in lots of fibers and sizes. I've been wearing the OTK tubes under my new boots for the break-in period and they've been great. ... show more

    • Terrible Product, fell apart after being worn twice.
I purchased these boots back in February, but I didn't wear them until April. They are advertised as WaterProof, but mine fell apart after only two occasions of wearing them out and about. One of these days, I went hiking and it rained. They were never fullly submersed in water, but they did get damp from the rainy weather. Half-way through my hike, the sole of the right boot, just fell off. By this point, I was in the middle of nowhere, away from any nearby trails and the without a shoe. Not good. If I had known that they could not be worn out on rainy days, I never would have bought them and the name of the product is misleading. ... show more

No really. I don't have much else to say about them. Great when I'm cruising on the bike, tromping through mud puddles, or butching up my more feminine clothes. These look equally great with a frilly, crochet dress or your beat up bomber jacket. The fit was spot on and I still have room for some thick socks on colder days. I get compliments on them almost every time I wear them out. Definitely a solid purchase. Good idea; go me! ... show more
