First impression: These boots are amazing, they look even better than the picture. I don't normally shop online (especially shoes) so I was a bit worried but they were fantastic. Size: * Fits perfect to size (especially since the calf area is fully adjustable). I love these boots. The 6.5 D width fits perfectly -- I love Timberland's wide width, and wish more of their boots were available in it -- and they are both sturdy and fashionable, great for commuting on foot and public transportation. The only negative is that the lining fabric is a bit rough, so be sure to wear socks. One great source for socks long enough not to creep southward in these boots is Sockdreams.com -- [...] -- they carry over-the-knee and thigh-high socks in lots of fibers and sizes.     • Terrible Product, fell apart after being worn twice.
I purchased these boots back in February, but I didn't wear them until April. They are advertised as WaterProof, but mine fell apart after only two occasions of wearing them out and about. One of these days, I went hiking and it rained. They were never fullly submersed in water, but they did get damp from the rainy weather. Half-way through my hike, the sole of the right boot, just fell off. By this point, I was in the middle of nowhere, away from any nearby trails and the without a shoe. Not good. If I had known that they could not be worn out on rainy days, I never would have bought them and the name of the product is misleading. ... show more

    • Love the colour, rich and warm.
These boots are fantastic! I had the banana colour some years back and wore them a lot, so was so excited about the new colour . We live in a ski resort and these boots are practical and beautiful. I am a boot connoisseur, with over 30 pairs and a lover of Frye, I wear these more than my lace up Fryes. Good for all calves, mine are extremely narrow and I have an issue getting boots to look right. My girlfriend has bigger calves and she fit them as well, just loosen the laces So comfy to wear.     • small uncomfortable boot w/diff return instructions
I wear a 7.5. I ordered these in 7W, but they are definitely too small which I am NOT saying that is the company's fault. Just now in my opinion up size if your a mid size, but I do think the rest of the boot is not practical to work in and seems rather uncomfortable altogether so I am NOT reordering a larger size. Also I am struggling w/the return instructions. "PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR RETURNS FORM, INVOICE/AMAZON ORDER ID AND DETAIL OF ITEM BEING RETURNED AND WHY. Also, please remember to fill in the Commercial Invoice with the return Waybill number given, Date and Value." There is no returns form and my amazon invoice I found under my ordered item on line that I am printing does not have any mention of why I am returning it and I don't see a commercial invoice to put waybill info onto which may be my returns form as well IDK. I hope I don't lose my $170 just because of the precise return instructions that can't be followed. Your calf also needs to be thin and small for these boots. I am 150 lbs and 5'5" and not considered a lug but they barely lace up my thighs. ... show more

    • Super Stylish Boot
These construction colored Timberlands are truly stylish. The cut, durability and gold hooks on the boot add such a tough but stylish touch to construction boots. I managed well in the snow, rain and sleet with these boots. Although it took a couple days for the boot to shape to the contours of my feet so I could walk more comfortably, I would certainly recommend this boot to anyone buying. But always be mindful that when you purchase such a color (tan) all sorts of scratches, marks and color fades will happen within a few days. The beautiful tan will not last forever.
