I have gone through about a dozen different brands of "work tees" in the last two years. Usually, they start out fine, but after three washes, the neck bacon-curls, the sleeves shrink up to my forearms, or the fabric gets those little pills all over it. I decided to spend a few extra bucks on this Timberland PRO shirt, and I am glad I did. First off, the material weight is excellent. It’s not that paper-thin cotton you get with standard t-shirts; it feels substantial. It’s heavy enough to keep the chill off during early morning site checks but breathable enough that I don't feel like I'm wearing a plastic bag when the sun comes out. The "original fit" is key here—if you are used to fashion brands that fit tight, you might think this runs large. But for working, it’s perfect. I have full range of motion in my shoulders when I'm lifting overhead, and the shirt is long enough that it stays tucked in when I bend down (no plumber's crack). The cuffs are another win. They are reinforced and actually stay tight around my wrists. I can push them up to wash my hands, and they snap right back into place without getting loose and floppy. I wear a 2x and the 1x left some extra room to spare. I love the fit, 5’11” 240 lbs, got extra muscle and fat. It hangs in a flattering manner, it’s on the thicker side which makes it feel like good quality. Quickly became one of my favorite shirts. Definitely recommend it to anyone, it helps me stay warm as a long sleeve base layer under a flannel in this cold weather. Can't wait for the weather to cool so I can start wearing this in earnest. Ordered my normal size, XL, and it fits comfortably, just slightly loose which is what I prefer in a shirt like this. It's also on the heavy side so I'm confident it will hold up for a while. Worthy of the Timberland name.

A thick and durable work or casual long sleeve shirt. Its a working man’s shirt but looks great and washes well. I really like all the Timberland clothing. It’s seems to alway be made well and lasts many years.
