Uppers made with premium 100% waterproof leather from an LWG Silver-rated tannery. TimberDry™ eco-conscious waterproof membrane. Fully gusseted tongue. Removable anti-fatigue footbed. Compression-molded EVA midsole. 15% recycled rubber outsole. Imported. Shaft measures approximately 5" from arch. Heel measures approximately 1.5". Platform measures approximately 1". Covered by the Timberland Limited Warranty. Because Timberland is unable to control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, unless otherwise prohibited by law, the limited warranty is not available for products purchased from unauthorized sellers. The warranty claim must be made within 12 months of purchase. Proof of purchase is required. Great so far. I have wide feet, and ordered the wide even though some reviews online said the wides were still too narrow. But the fit is good. It took a few miles of local neighborhood walks to break them in, but they broke in fairly well and fast. After the break-in, I hit the trails and they are very comfortable on rocky sand and loose rocks as found in the desert. No hot spots. They are heavier than sneakers, but they are lighter than you would think from looking at them. They replace a pair of Asolo leather boots that I've had for many years, and these are much more comfortable right out of the box. And for their price, they seem very well built. These are a great and comfortable pair of hiking shoes. I recently went through mud, and they kept my feet completely dry. The fit is exactly as expected.

These boots have really held up. Bought these a couple years ago and I'm really glad I did. I'm not an avid hiker but these are the best boots I've ever had they are super comfortable and supportive.

Comfy but sweaty due to waterproofing, need simple inserts to protect against sweat buildup. Look great and durable. Waffle sole is thick, was slippery for a day then was grippy. Laces are too long for no reason even when laced all the way up, requiring extra knots, tucking or wrapping. But they’re suede, waterproof, look good and fit well. ... show more

Absolutely made-for-me fit in size 12, so over several years I have bought pairs in black and in this grey with orange trim. Tgere is room for my preferred (added) 1/8" thick plain Spenco neoprene insoles. The boot material breathes, never clammy, so combined with acrylic socks stay comfortable all day. Used these to hike at the Rocky Mountains and climb the Manitou incline. Pretty comfortable and quite durable. Will probably purchase another with a different color down the road. Thank you.

This was for my 4th work shoe. None was able to last with the work that I did and I just figured I would end up buying a new pair every month. After I saw my manager with a similar shoe that seemed to be working well, I decided to get a similar one. It was a great decision! It has been very strong and durable. I ran through about 3 shoes in 3 months. I did so much walking at work as an engineer and so much rough work that they could not last. However, it has been over 7 months and this shoe has stood the test of time! Absolute value for money. It fits nice, has great grip and keeps my feet warm.
