This is my second pair of Timberland boots and I am never disappointed in the quality and comfort that they provide. My wife thought I was crazy buying these new boots for a 26 mile canyon hiking/camp trip without breaking them in first. I will attest that NOT only did these boots feel like they were made for my feet right out of the box without my orthopedic inserts but I didn't have a single blister or sore spot. I bought these in the matte waterproof finish (newer make) and they seem to do the job; conventional finish would have cost $20 more. There seems to be a very slight bulge in the sole of the left one, but it may be going away with use. Medium weight, at least as comfortable as old Tims. These boots are great for my needs and comfortable (I do have orthotic inserts). The only issue is the toe cap comes loose very easily. They could use better adhesive.

Best pair of hiking boots I’ve ever owned. They waterproof up to the bottom of my ankle bones. I don’t know if that’s the same for everybody, but that’s how it is for me. Very comfortable. Well insulated. They look great with almost anything.
