Some chairs will have a higher weight capacity, but the width of the seat is too small. These chairs are WIDE!! They truly hold a larger person comfortably AND securely. These are quality chairs and built to hold a heavier weight. You could add a seat cushion if you are planning on using them for an all day event, but they are comfortable as is for 2-3 hours. The chairs have a handle to help carry, although we find it easier to just pick up the chair frame to carry. They fold up and down super easy! You will have no problems and they come with instructions. Our only complaint: the side table will not lock into place securely. We never know if our drink or food is going to come crashing to the ground. They really should have made the locking mechanism more secure. We will probably have to rig something to make the side table work effectively. The chairs are priced too high for the side tables to keep collapsing. On unboxing immediately saw the packing was done with care. Opened chair and it is been great, comfortable, and well made. Plenty of room you can adjust as needed. If you have shorter legs you will be happy not just hanging feet in the air and getting uncomfortable. Great to have contact with ground. Stable build. Okay now the negative. It's heavy, but the carrier is built well and strap for shoulder carry works good bit me I would think if lugging around any significant distance you would see weight as issue. Unfolding and folding the chair takes some strength. It is a straightforward process. You don't need directions to fold or unfold it, but it does take some real effort. And that is my only "complaint" about the product. I am a hefty person and have broken a few outdoor chairs just by sitting on them. This chair? That won't happen. I sat down on it and it barely gave at all. It is very sturdy. The side table is easy to set up and let down. I have put several drinks and some gardening tools on it and it held just fine. There is a weight limit to the side table but I find it very reasonable for my use. Is this the prettiest chair? No. It is a decent looking chair that operates better than you would think. The fabric material is both comfortable and sturdy. The chair seat is "deep" enough front to back and if you want you could tuck a leg under you just fine. The back support is better than any outside folding chair I've ever used. The chair is wide. Both myself and my daughter can sit on it side by side. She even bounced on it to check to see if it would hold. No problem. I have flopped down on it twice now and each time I realized half way through that I shouldn't be doing that. Great sturdy chair. I am 6’2” 290lbs., and this chair was very comfortable for me. Chair seat is wide in both directions. Smaller people might want to add a pillow in back to feel more comfortable. Cozy enough to curl up next to a campfire. Table tray was sturdy when locked in place and side pockets are very functional. Because of the sturdy construction the chair was a little heavier to carry than I was expecting, but it is to be expected for the durability and quality of the construction. Listen. I'm big... 470lbs of BIG! I've never sat in a camp chair that I've had so much room! Look at my attached photos! I haven't sat in it long (long enough to take pictures and write the review) but so far it's comfortable. I feel like this is more structurally more supportive than anything I've seen or used in the past; I can actually push off the arm rests when standing up. I actually feel safe in it. I don't feel like the chair joints are going to buckle or warp under my weight. The little side table is pretty cool, never had a chair with one of those before, and lots of side pockets too. Really, been sitting in this chair for probably 30min or so overall now and still quite comfortable. Sets up easy, folds up easier than any other camp chair I've had in the past. Chair itself is a little bulky to carry but really not that bad, not that heavy. But let's be realistic here, if you're big enough to need this chair, you're just gonna have to suck it up and deal with it cause there isn't a "small, lightweight, no effort to carry chair" that supports up to 600lbs that's gonna give you comfortable seating space. Look, you've read my comments and other people's comments... Stop thinking about it and just order this chair! ... show more
