Update: a blow dryer on high for about 30 seconds set the wings straight again! Woohoo! Bought these to hang up for Fall and Halloween. And now that I've got them in my hand, I might use a few for the Halloween wreath I'm making. They aren't as big as I was hoping for, but they are still adorable!!! They have little beedy red eyes, and are made from very sturdy rubber. I can stretch, pull, squish, and roll up these little guys without a problem. My only issue is that they came all rolled up and squished together in a ball. Every single bat now has some kind of wing deformity... I'm hoping a blow dryer on high will help flatten them out, and will update if I have any success. Great buy, and totally worth the price seeing as these will most likely last me for years to come! ... show more

I like that these bats are different, all are in flight but some are with the wings up, some with wings down. They have little red eyes and are suspended by elastic loops. So they really appear to be flying when they’re hit with some wind. The only drawbacks are they’re a bit small (3”) and they are quite crumpled. I soaked in hot water, used a hot blow dryer and let them sit in the sun, but some of the bent wings are still bent out of shape. Hoping that as they hang they will go back to their original shape. My only complaint is that these were packaged so tightly together than the wings on all the bats are bent in an awkward way. I’m hoping they will straighten out in time with them laying out separately. Otherwise, I’m satisfied with them for our Halloween decorations. They’re pretty flexible so I’m hoping they will have a good bounce in the wind when suspended from our trees. ... show more

I like these rubber bats though I should have looked at their size, which is totally on me! They are a lot smaller than I expected, but I had all 22 of them and they will work for what I need them for. Final Rating: 4 Stars

I picked these to get an early start on Halloween decorations this year. I want lots of bats everywhere, and the quantity here seemed great! Didn’t notice how small they are until they arrived, and they were wrapped in shrink wrap, and all of them were balled up together. The problem with that packaging is that all of the bats were wrinkled in someway where they are deformed when hung up. The only way they sit flat is if they’re taped down to a surface. The bats are rubbery silicone, so I don’t really know how they can be straightened out but considering that we’re putting them in the front yard along the fence it’s not too much of an issue, but I could have this would be disappointing if you planned on hanging them from clothes line or doorway or ceiling. I can’t recommend them simply because they don’t arrive the way they’re pictured. ... show more

The string attached on the back of the bats is so helpful! It makes it easy to hang them on walls or trees (including Christmas trees), on curtains, or wherever else you might please. The quality is good. I do wish they weren’t squished in the bag they came in since some of their wings are crooked now, but they flattened back out after having weight put on top of them. I’ve had so much fun with these! If you hang them outside where the breeze can reach them, they have a nice fluttering effect too. ... show more

So I got these bats because I wanted decorations for Halloween that would last for years and that actually had some umph to them. These bats are rubber and just look better than paper bats, so they were an instant win. They look great in my house and you can use them for multiple decoration projects like wreaths and candles.
