Beautiful ring, but downside itโs โcheapโ and turns my finger colors. I donโt get it wet or anywhere near water. Only wear it during the day and take it off at night but after about an hour my finger turns colors.

My college-going niece and some of her friends have decided to dress as the Real Housewives for a Halloween party and my niece called me with a request to borrow any inexpensive costume jewelry I feel comfortable letting her wear for the occasion. When I saw the TIGRADE 2CT Criss Cross Promise Ring for Women pop up on Vine, and with a retail price of only $18.99, I knew it would be perfect for her costume and that I wouldn't miss it if something were to happen to it. The TIGRADE ring is quite comfortable to wear. It has a huge "stone" in the center which catches the light beautifully! The criss cross band has small stones which do not go all the way around the band, adding to the overall comfort level. The silver colored band (this isn't sterling silver) joins in the back. The ring seems to be true to size, with a comfortable fit. The main stone is huge and sticks up higher than expected, higher (and larger) than something I'd normally wear, but the prongs, edges, and stone are nice and smooth and don't catch on or snag clothing, nor do they scratch my skin. The real negative here is that the ring arrived poorly presented! In fact, I recently received a small screwdriver with a better presentation! Some of my pictures show the ring in a gray velvety box. This is not the box in which it arrived! The ring arrived in a flattish black box with TIGRADE printed on the top. The box was inside a plastic bag with a sticky strip to seal the bag. The ring was inside a tiny ziplock plastic bag inside the black box. The ring was made in China. Overall, this is a pretty fancy-looking ring for a bargain price! It isn't sterling silver, but from the description as well as the price, I didn't expect it to be. A word of caution, I wouldn't wear this ring in the shower, nor would I use hand sanitizer while wearing this ring. In fact, I'd likely remove it before washing my hands. In other words, I wouldn't expect this ring to hold up to everyday use. For the price, this is a 5-star piece of costume jewelry suitable for occasional wear, but I deducted a star due to the very poor presentation.

This is a fun and uniquely designed ring. It is definitely costume jewelry, but it looks decent for what it is. The design of this ring is more unique and is interesting to look at. The ring fit true to size. It's easy to slip on and off and is comfortable to wear. The main stone does feel a little too large for the design and would look better slightly smaller. It would also help the stone to look more realistic. The larger the fake stone the easier it is to tell it's fake. This one gets that rainbow sort of reflection in it characteristic of faux stones. But this definitely isn't a bad ring for the current price point.

So this ring is very pretty and the three bands are beautiful and very delicate. The ring seems to be of decent quality and should hold up well over time if taken care of. For me though the sizing seems to be off. I ordered this in a size 8.5 but it is actually looser on my finger than another ring I have that is a size 9. when holding them next to each other this one is just the tiniest bit bigger than that one.
