I use a 22 ounce breaking cue with a phenolic tip. I love the consistent powerful breaks BUT I've had nothing but problems getting chalk to stick to this super hard tip. I've tried several chalk products and all have failed to adhere well to the phenolic tip. I just took delivery of the new Tiger cue tip chalk and used it for the first time this evening on my phenolic breaking cue. It not only covered the tip well, it stayed on the tip for a couple breaks before needing to be reapplied. I am completely astonished. Thank-you Tiger products for this amazing chalk.

I have tried a variety of chalks over the years and notice very little difference in performance from the cheap to expensive brands. However, this is definitely the cleanest that I have used. Goes on easily, provides good coverage, and doesn't leave chalk marks all over the cueball. I may stick with this one just for that reason alone. Update: I love this chalk. Great performance, no mess. My chalk of choice now.

Used Masters most of my life but recently switched to Predator. I like Predator but it leaves dots on the cue. Looking for something cleaner I’m trying different brands. Tiger has always had good products so gave it a try despite few reviews online. This doesn’t leave a mess on the ball. Can’t really opine on how many strokes between chalking you can do since I pretty much chalk between every shot. But doing that, this chalk doesn’t cake up. Update 7/19/2022. I’ve been playing with this and Taom v10 the last week. I’m getting similar performance between them. But the Tiger chalk has slightly tougher texture. Liking both no miscues, gone maybe 5 strokes without habitually chalking so both seem to hold to 5. As cool as using the taom chalk is, I think ill buy this going forward at 3 for 20.

Overall good chalk. It's got a tad bit of creaminess to it, but it also has some dust to it as well. Nice medium between. Can still mark on a table if you're a reckless shooter. I feel it adheres to my shooting tip well (Zan Soft) which is probably closer to holding up like a Medium imo. I personally don't use or recommend on a hard tip/break cue. I do however like and use it on my shooting cue. The price point isn't hateful for 3 pieces and the tiny metal tin is nice. It's not garbage chalk but also not top of the line, but it does do its job and has proven to be of quality for me.

I compared it to Silver Cup, Master, APA and Predator 1800 and this tiger chalk won the battle. It had the best combination of tip coverage, longevity on the tip, not leaving marks on balls, and the most important attribute for me which was it grabs really well producing excellent cue ball spin on both the soft delicate and full power shots.

Sereverly disappointed. It was flaky and didn't stick to the cue well at all. The reviews had stated it was soft and would hold, unfortunately both untrue for the 3 I received.
