The fit is spot on and they are as comfortable as rubber snake boots can be. They aren’t too heavy which is an added benefit. They are waterproof which is a necessity in the woods. I can’t attest to them being totally protective as far as snake bites go and I hope I don’t find out lol.

I was afraid these boots could be too hard to get off once my feet swollen after wearing them all day. To my joyful surprise, I can still get them off even though my feet do swell everyday due to my health and age. (71) I wore them in 92 degree days and wore them in 34 degree weather. They never got too hot, and did not get to cold, unlike all the rubber boots I have used in years past. I certainly do enjoy using these snake proof boots, every hunting day. I don't need a separate pair for summer, then different for winter in South Carolina Low Country Area. I did get one size larger than my shoes and leather work boots. I will purchase these boots again if I every destroy one or a rattle snake strikes one. I don't use boots again after they have been hit by a rattler or Cotton Mouth, I retire them and purchase new again. I recommend anyone looking for a comfortable, easy on easy off rubber boot to try these. ... show more

Wear 9.5 ordered 11. Tried on with out socks. Could tell quickly that with the correct socks will work ok for me. Runs very small. Because they are rubber boots not sure what or is meant by “breathable”? In the description. Rubber does not breathe! Anyway, understanding what they are to be used for (deer hunting) I think they will work fine. Time will tell how many seasons I will get out of them. ... show more
