I love this color and sleeping on silk sheet so much! I’ve had a bottom sheet before, but after a few years, it got worn out. Sleeping on and in silk is like a dream. I’ve always wanted silk, but when I was younger it felt way too expensive. Then I finally made the investment in myself, and I will never go back! Keeps me cool when it’s hot and keeps me warm when it’s cold. We sleep at least a third of our lives might as well invest into something that’s good for our skin & breathable. It’s really important to invest in natural fabrics. There’s so much synthetic sheets and blankets out there which are horrible for the Earth, bad for a skin and the list goes on. I bought a calking size and it fits perfectly. Silk is wrinkle Resistant. You have to buy a special soap for it and hand wash it or put it on delicate cycle which may feel inconvenient for people, but it’s really not that big of a deal. Best investment and I’d say just go for it. This brand and the quality is worth it.

I am incredibly disappointed with the quality of these sheets. I have been a loyal THXSilk customer for the past three years and have purchased three different sheet sets, spending close to $2,000 because I truly loved my original set. Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill. My newer sets have all developed the same issue: they become covered in tiny fibers/lint that are extremely difficult to remove, making the sheets look worn and old despite being properly cared for. I have always followed the care instructions exactly, used a detergent specifically made for silk, and washed them with the same level of care as my first set—which never had this problem. I have even spent hours trying to manually remove the fibers, but the issue keeps coming back. For sheets that cost several hundred dollars, this is completely unacceptable. At this point, I can’t help but question whether something has changed in the manufacturing or materials because my original purchase held up beautifully under the exact same care routine. Premium silk sheets should not deteriorate like this after normal use. It’s unfortunate because I genuinely loved these sheets and kept coming back to THXSilk, but after the same problem occurring with multiple purchases, I can no longer justify spending this kind of money. I expected premium quality and durability, but that has not been my experience. I hope THXSilk stands behind its products and addresses these recurring quality issues. Until then, I cannot recommend them.

I've had these a few weeks and wanted to wait to review until I had more experience with them. They were a big splurge for me and with going through menopause I was willing to try anything to feel cooler and have better sleep. I previously bought silk pillowcases from another company and enjoyed using them for better skin and hair care and loved the results. For this Silk Sheet Set: Service was exceptional- received it sooner than expected, questions answered promptly by company, etc. Quality is very good- sewn well, no hanging threads or defects whatsoever, luxurious feeling! I love the slate blue color, it is gorgeous and seems true to the pictures on computer. The sizing is generous on both the pillows and sheets. I have a 16 inch mattress with a topper and it fits with room to spare. The feel is very soft, cool, silky, albeit slippery. I really love the feel, so comfortable that I am excited to go to bed and don't want to get out in the morning. But to be honest, I still get hot and sweaty and find myself kicking off the covers middle of the night. So I changed it up and I am just using the bottom sheet for now, with a cotton duvet cover over my comforter and that feels a little cooler. Full disclosure: I live in Hawaii where it is warm and humid year round and I don't have A/C. It took some getting used to these sheets due to them being slippery. The first night my pillow slipped off the bed during my tossing and turning and knocked down my water on my night stand, then another day my pillow slipped and knocked off my lamp! Fortunately it didn't break or fall on my sleeping dog next to my bed. ;) Obviously I need to move things a little, but they are so slippery that even the top sheet and comforter fell to bottom of bed on floor and husband and I wake up trying to pull up the sheets but they were on the floor! Minor but just information to share. I washed 3 times now in machine on "handwash" setting with Woolite. Hung on line to dry and they dry very fast then back on the bed- don't even want to rotate them with my cotton sheets because I love these! A little wrinkly but they smooth out on bed. I don't iron sheets and especially silk sheets due to fear of easily burning silk- my expensive investment. Overall, I highly recommend but if you're not sure, start will pillowcases or a bottom fitted sheet. Those are my favorite to use.

I don't know that I would pay the price for these again, I understand that real silk is very expensive but I'm not super thrilled with the dye that was used. We got the black set and washed it as instructed but there's spots where the dye has lightened. I wouldn't mind that SO much if it was consistent but it's not. The top sheet also doesn't have that folded over portion to tell you where the top from the bottom is easily, which really isn't a big deal but I would have liked that detail at this price point. The negatives aside, these sheets are incredibly comfortable and very kind to hair and skin. My husband is over the moon about having silk sheets again as they are his absolute favorite. They make high quality Egyptian cotton sheets feel cheap.

I recently purchased a silk sheet set from a reputable retailer and I must say, I am extremely impressed with the quality and luxurious feel of these sheets. I’ve bought several silk sheet sets from here, and wish I’d only ever paid twice as much for this higher quality brand. (Although I do still think it’s overpriced, especially for an imported product.) I’ve had a couple other sets professionally tested by a textiles engineer and barely any of them are the percentage of silk that they advertise. Everyone else’s is very noticeably not the same high-quality of silk nor the same durable stitching. Some others’ sheets are even sewn together in parts, so not a single entire sheet like this brand (even though those other listings didn’t disclose that, so I returned them). I’m grateful to finally be able to invest in this highest quality silk. Very happy with this brand and appreciate not sweating as much as I did with the satin imitation (especially since I have perimenopause). More importantly, as a scientist myself, I’ve finally been able to test and validate with instruments that genuine silk DOES provide an energetic barrier around the body. So, it’s a perfectly natural and health shielding for meditation (and astral travel), not only for deep sleep. Absolutely worth the investment if you want to maximize the 33% of life that’s spent in bed.
