My husband recommended Thursday boots to me. They are made better and can be a little less pricy than some other brands that are also not as well made these days. I have always wanted a pair of combat boots but have always balked at the idea of spending that much on a pair of shoes. As I've gotten older I have started appreciating well made shoes and now understand you really get what you pay for (especially if you do your research). So I gritted my teeth and bought myself a pair for Christmas. I came home quick from work so I could put try on and they did NOT disappoint! They were comfortable right out of the box. No rubbing and not tight at all. I normally wear a 9.5-10 and ordered these in a 10. They are perfect. I expect to get many years out of these boots as I am not hard on my shoes. I also noticed these are very warm. I wore them around the house for a couple of hours to see how they'd feel and my feet were very toasty. These are also lighter than I expected. I had tried on other boots before and they were both heavy and stiff. I will be purchasing more shoes from this company as I replace my old cheaper shoes with quality products.

I’ve seen this company pop up several times in my online search for quality leather shoes. If you have only worn pleather or “vegan leather” boots, you have no idea what you’re missing out on. I’ve been wearing these boots regularly ever since I bought them a couple months ago (including days where the temperature is between 80 and 90 degrees F), (including 10+ hour long days at local comic cons). And honestly that is all because of the leather quality. You cannot go wrong with 100% real leather, and this stuff is the real deal. They are so comfortable in every sense of the word, I don’t even need insoles. I will say, they did take a couple weeks to break in, but now that they have, they fit me like a glove. So full story, I bought these originally through Amazon, a half size smaller than my normal shoe size because they were available $70 cheaper used. Unsurprisingly they were too small, so I returned them and bought the next size up directly from their website. But I’m leaving this review because other people have raised concerns about the quality being different. It’s not. End of story. The quality is literally identical. And that quality is superb. The reason I gave the 8.5 a try is because I have wide feet. My shoe size can be anywhere between a women’s US 8 and 9.5, with 9 being the common winner. But that leads me to my next point which is the toe box. I’ve seen other reviews complain about the toe box being too narrow and tight. But for ME, with my wide feet, having to constantly go UP a size and look like I’m wearing clown shoes sometimes, this was AWESOME. So even though they’re not labeled as wide, they almost feel like they are meant for people with slightly wider feet! And again with the leather, the leather will naturally conform to your foot over time, so these were able to stretch a little, making my feet very happy. I held off leaving this review for as long as I could because I really tried to critique them as hard as I could (I have high expectations for my clothes because I am a seamstress). I have nothing negative to say. Other than the breaking in period sucked… the style, durability, everything is great. No trouble with the zipper. Like I said, I’m wearing these during a bloody heat wave and I’m not sweltering with these on. If you’re looking for new shoes, highly highly highly recommend Thursday Boot Company.

The color , fit, and comfort are so nice. Good value and quality, worth the price. Amazon needs to do a better job packing. The original packing was just the boot box in a plastic bag, which was torn open, so the boot box is very damaged and torn. It was evidently (judging by all the labels) repacked in a cardboard box. Thankfully, the boots were not damaged.

Like their website says, if your shoe size includes a half size to order up. I normally wear a 9.5 and get Thursday boots size 10. These combat boots feel like they are already worn in, very comfortable. They are a little shiny out of the box but that buffs away with wear. They do scuff seemingly easily but it's leather, thats how they go. It will wear in to a really nice look. These are easy to put on with the zipper. I'd recommend putting your foot in carefully for longevity. Beautiful, stylish boot. It's like wearing Doc Martens but less prevalent and with more class.

I have black one it is made so well and comfy. I bought that black one from their website. This time i wanted white boots and get it faster, but i didn't expect boots have defects on them. It looks stylish, but too rough for your feet. I put them on and made 2 steps then take them off. Material is pure leather, but too hard like rock. Personally, i don't like everything in this white boots.

Very nice boots, nice quality workmanship! Would’ve kept them but they were very narrow in the toe box, and there was no way I’d be able to wear heavier socks with them. Except for that a very comfortable boot.

Update: Ive been wearing these boots for a few days now and now they fit way better. The leather stretches to your foot size. The leather is so soft! I usually we’re 8.5 but ordered my shoes in size 9 for more wiggle room. Even size 9 was a bit tighter than I liked but I’ve been breaking them in for the past two days and are starting to fit better. If these shoes are well taken care, they can last a very long time!
