Great boots, wish I had bought them sooner!

I wore these the day I got them, and expected to break them in a bit; putting in padded insoles made it easy. I got a half-size larger than usual, which was another good idea. Padded insoles and thick socks = no pain! There was a strong smell when I unboxed them, but it went away quickly. These fit and look great, and I think they're worth every penny.

My New Favorite Boots

From the moment I zipped them up, they were comfortable from the get‑go—none of that “suffer for two weeks while they break in” nonsense that so many boots demand. These were good to go straight out of the box I ordered my usual size and they fit like they were made for me. No pinching, no rubbing, no “maybe thin socks will fix this”. The Black Cherry leather is gorgeous in person—rich, dimensional, and easy to dress up or down. The zipper is sturdy, the heel height is just right, and the overall build feels solid without being heavy. They strike that rare balance of looking sleek while still being comfortable enough to wear all day.

Terrible blisters!

I wish I could give these zero stars. I have never in my 6 inch, cheap, stiletto heel wearing, 40 millennial years, have had a pair of shoes blister my feet the way these did. I actually cut my trip short and got a cap home in tears, I was in so much pain I could not walk any farther. Both big toes, pinky toes, heels blistered and the balls of my feet were so numb! What a waste of money. These are so expensive too!

Everyone was saying these run small so size up. I’m normally a 6.5 so I ordered a 7 which was too big so I did the Amazon return which was super fast and easy then I ordered a 6.5 ..still too big so I submitted a return and it made me print the label and ship it back directly which says it takes longer for a refund. I’m trying to get a size 6. The boot itself was comfortable when I tried it on and it looks very well made. Sizing was just hard to figure out and returning process has been a little stressful.

Another 10/10 from Thursday Boots! I have been a big fan for several years and have found that their products are really durable and well worth the price. I typically order straight through their website, but I love that they are starting to ship through Amazon, now, too. Makes it so easy to snag a pair with quick delivery! My typical size in shoes is a 7.5 and that is what I ordered here in the black color. They fit perfectly! I love that they have a zipper, which will make it really easy to put them on/take them off. I can't wait to start wearing them soon, now that the cooler weather is upon us! The only thing is that when I placed the order, ETA for the delivery was 1 week, which was a bummer. However, they arrived 2 days after I ordered them! Highly, highly recommend for anyone looking for a cute heeled bootie. Great for everyday wear, but also easy to dress up!

Gorgeous, high quality boot… just not for me.

My only dislike with these boots (and the reason I ultimately returned them) was they were just a little too clunky chunky and “badass” for the style I was going for (my sister said I looked like I was ready to “kick in some doors” when I sent her a pic!). That and the fact that I learned they are not able to be re-soled or re-heeled. But as I expected from Thursday Boot Co., these boots are gorgeous, extremely well made, true to size, and were extremely comfortable right out of the box (unlike the Red Wings I ended up with instead). 🤣 Important to note that Thursday Boot Co. does offer re-soleable shoes- but the Coda style is not. If you’re looking for something a little more bad-ass- then this is the boot for you!

Freaking GORGEOUS

These boots are GORGEOUS. Like 6/5 stars for how beautiful & well crafted they are. I cannot WAIT to wear them, they’re going to look amazing with so many things I own. They are not however, true to size. I’m a solid 7 but have a fairly wide/thick foot, so I do sometimes need a 7.5 in shoes (particularly boots) to accommodate that. When I tell you these boots were TIGHT, I mean, I had to WORK to get that 7.5 on my foot, and they were horribly uncomfortable. Was I able to fairly easily stretch them to accommodate my foot? Absolutely. I got some Foot Fit Shoe Stretch and my hairdryer, and started with a thin sock and worked my way to doubled-up wool socks. Now they fit like a glove. But it did take me quite a while, and additional materials to get them to fit. If these had been offered in a wide, they probably would have been a 5/5 for me. But the extra work I had to do to get an already larger than I usually need shoe to fit me, gets them a 4. Still absolutely love them.
