My dog used to jerk my arm and shoulder whenever he'd lunge at another animal. This handle seems to cushion it somewhat so there's less stress on my arm. I find the poop bag dispenser convenient, especially the hook where I can hang a used bag and free my other hand. This handle should be convenient when I have to wear gloves since I no longer have to squeeze my hand through the loop on my leash. Update (9/7/17): I originally gave this product 5 stars. I have reduced the rating to 2 stars based upon a critical flaw in the design of the leash carabiner screw, which causes the leash carabiner to detach from the grip. My 18-pound dog got loose on a busy street and I was very fortunate he did not get hit by a car! I tried tightening the screw as much as possible using pliers and it happened again. I then went to the hardware store and purchased Loctite Threadlocker (blue), let it set for over 48 hours and guess what? It happened again. I really wanted this product to work but this is strike three. Update (10/11/17): I contacted the manufacturer and they shipped a replacement carabiner within two days. I've been using it for a week now without issue. I tried twisting the carabiner screw off (without success) just to test it. I am giving them 5 stars again for addressing my issue immediately. Now that it is functioning properly, I can walk my dog in comfort and peace of mind. Highly recommended. ... show more

When I first purchased this item, I thought it was amazing, and it made walking both of my dogs at the same time a breeze. I have used this item to walk my 2 dogs approximately 6-8 times and it has already broken! My dog's leash came right off, and they almost got loose as a result. The weight limit is supposedly 150 lbs, but there is no way that this is true because my dogs together weigh 60 lbs. Attempted to return, but this seller apparently does not accept returns. The trash bag dispenser shreds every type of bag I’ve used, including the ones sent with set. I would have returned it, but the cost of returing each part that I orders would be almost half of the original cost. Ridiculous. So, I’m using it, but I had to attached my own bag dispenser (the free one that comes with the bags), which kind of defeats the purpose of a self contained, all inclusive product. :/ Let me know if I just got a dud and I’ll gladly take a new bag dispenser for my very expensive system. ... show more

I spent a lot of time contemplating the purchase of this product, bc lets face it, its not a necessity; however, i typically walk at night, so i need a rechargeable flashlight, as well as poop bags, clicker and treats. It took me some time to fuly comprehend what came with the initial product...and upon learning it'd be fifty bucks for just a light and handle i wasnt so sure. But the reason i leaned toward buying was i got sick of searching for two dog leashes, flaslight, bags, treat pouch etc. Having everything be right in one place and attached is reallly convienent. Not to mention the flashlight add on is incredible. I love it. My fiance likes it because it also has light coming out the back/behind you so its safer when cars come from behind. I noticd some reviews complaining about the bags; i have no idea what they're talking about as ive had NO issues whatsoever. The only negative would be that it doesnt allow for bags and the treat container at once; so you have to sacrifice 1 for the other (and u always need bags) So I just bought an add on treat bone (on amazon) & it clips to the handle just fine. I could do the same with bags if that function did malfunction. So far, I really love this product!! ... show more

Great concept, but I wish it wasn't so expensive: I erroneously assumed the flashlight came with it, but perhaps in haste the description was not fully examined (during another one of those late night Amazon impulse shopping sprees((i don't have a problem)). The flashlight, purchased $eparately, was brighter than expected. The swivel part for a tangle-free leash is my favorite feature since our puppy is all over the place, to and fro, hither and yon with that relentless puppy energy. Perhaps the creators of this product can make an interchangeable module that dispenses a mild, puppy-friendly sedative. But seriously, for the price it would have been nice to include the flashlight and perhaps another module like the treat dispenser. There are only two possible drawbacks to the system that I see, depending on the user: 1- the weight of a fully loaded Gismo may mimic that of a small dumbbell. 2- some users of the meaty and/or couch potato disposition may be unable to slip a hand into the loop. This makes freeing both hands for canine feces reclamation or treat dispensing a bit difficult. ... show more

We've all read this sentence on here before: "I should have listened to the negative reviews." True statement. I was so excited about having the poop bags and a flashlight in one for my late night outings with my dog but this thing ripped EVERY poop bag that I took out of it. Total waste of money and way too big to just have it be a flashlight at one end. Returned mine after 3 days of ripped bags (kept thinking it would resolve itself, but it never did). ... show more

We needed to carry a flashlight to pick up after our dogs, now that both mornings and evenings are dark here in New England. I saw this and thought it would solve the problem neatly. The handle is comfortable and the carabiner easily can hold two leashes if only one of us is walking both dogs. (I don't see the point of the dual leash connector, as the single carabiner works just fine for one or two.) Today I went to refill the bags, only to find that it DOES NOT accept a standard poop bag refill. We use the Amazon Basics Standard Poop bags. It actually does hold the roll, but shreds the bags as they are removed. I do not know what the seller considers "standard" but this takes a smaller roll. I don't even know where to get such a refill. WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS??? It seems like a really avoidable blunder that ruins what could have been a very cool product. ... show more
