I think I came across Thursday boots like many buyers, through social media ads. I liked the look and colors of their product and pulled the trigger on these. They did not disappoint. I ordered half size down from my sneaker size 11 and ordered these boots in 10 1/2. I even wear thicker socks like you would wear with some boots and it fits great. I never liked trying to struggle my way into a shoe and surprisingly, I had no extra trouble of getting my foot in. I also wear wide in converse chucks, concerned if the regular fit of these boots might be to constricting, but again my roll of the dice paid off and the regular fit feels just fine. I'm not one to pop for 200 dollars on shoes but this was worth it. When you consider what they do for these shoes that allows you to even re-sole them if one day needed plus the treatment on the suede leather it seemed like one of the better buys for the money. I would also recommend the cobblers choice cedar inserts as they are really nice and help maintain the shape and structure of the boot. Yes, more money invested but again, worth it.

I purchased these boots for the look and style. The grey color has a brushed look to it and are easy to take on and off. The boots are durable and relatively comfortable for a show with a slightly higher heel. There was an issue with the first pair and the insole bunched up in one of the boots. Thursday Boot Company's process was easy and they quickly replaced the pair. I haven't had an issue with the replacement pair and happy to wear them all the time. I like the boots so much that I plan to purchase one of their Captain's brown boots!

So I will say that they look fantastic, but this is where my positive thoughts will end. They are built absolutely horribly. Within 4 wears split in a few months, the boots fell apart. The non-removable insole completely separated, the counter cover was worn through, and the boots were unwearable. It was outside of the return period and Thursday's customer service was non-responsive. The boots were well taken care of and always stored with cedar shoe trees. I can't recommend this pair of boots to anyone and has soured Thursday as a company for me. UPDATE: Thursday contacted me and proceeded to say I was lying about the failure then blame me. Please steer away from this company at all costs.
