Easy to set up. Serves its purpose well. I had bought 2 before a big rain and they filled up fast, so I bought a third one. I don’t have gutters yet and just positioned them on the corners of my house where rainfall/runoff is heaviest. I love the spout to fill my watering can, and I also love that I can hook up a hose. I would only recommend checking the top before rain, when the barrel isn’t at least half full yet, because it can slightly fold in on itself since it’s collapsible, so I make sure to stretch it back out for maximum collection surface.

Build quality: Worked great till the bottom spicket broke off screw attachment with it. I dont know if it was the pressure from the water broke it or if i pulled too hard. Im going to see if i can fix it but it was a bit disappointing.

This is the worst engineered item I have ever purchased. It comes with a plastic tube which must be installed in a narrow channel, otherwise the rain water will leak out at the bottom. It comes with no instructions for installing the tube but the channel is so small it is almost impossible to install. It took me over 2 hours with a dowel rod and wire hanger and narrow pliers to push/pull the tube through and connect it. Completely aggravating experience!

I am hoping it rains again soon so I can try it now that I found a way to anchor it into the ground. When it is empty it collapses, when the wind blows it is even worse. We had heavy rains but because it collapsed no rain was collected. A bit disappointed but I found a way to anchor it with garden dowl sticks through each tubing. The material and its components are high quality.

I'm a tech writer. Whoever wrote the instructions for this thing should get yelled at. Seriously. I'm not even touching the actual flimsy/not flimsy of tge actual product because I've had it a day. But the instructions? Need SERIOUS work. Friggin hire someone like me if you aren't sure. Or at least have someone QA the instructions for the love of cake.
