  • EASY TO RUN WITH
Style: Double Color: Black
I have ran with this stroller for the past 2 months before leaving a review. I can promise you, this is the best running stroller out there. I have two kids (4 & 3 years old- roughly around 30 lbs each) and it is still sooooo smooth and easy to run with. And when I say run, I'm talking anywhere up to 3.5 miles per run. The kids have mentioned so many times how this stroller is way more comfortable than our previous 3 other brands of jogging strollers. My husband loves the adjustable handle that makes it easy for him to change the height of the bar. He also loves how light it is, the sun protections for the kids and how easy to fold it is. Personally I love the little knob that allows you to pivot the wheel when locked so that it is *JUST* right for my turns. I run on a very curved path so having that help is so nice. I do find the basket a bit hard to use (we love the plastic liner at the bottom though!!!!), so I just got a couple hooks and a bag to hold my things at the top. The visors are very sturdy and shield most of my kids' bodies. I am only 5"2 and can easily open, close, and load this into my suv. I know that everyone is gonna say the price is the downfall, but for us wasting money on crappy strollers before this one was the real downfall. If anything happens to this one and my kids still fit it, I will 100% buy another. ... show more

  • Excellent stroller
Style: Single Color: Black
I wanted a jogging stroller with a brake that I could rollerblade with safely. [I'm not advocating using this for rollerblading, this is a don't-try-this-at-home kind of warning] The front wheel has a nice pseudo-lock mechanism to it so you can switch from walking/maneuverable to running/limited turning mode. The wheels are the perfect size, glides easily and silently. It seems very well made, the material has held up to the sun, the canopy and ventilation is great. The braking works well enough for rollerblading, you have to turn it pretty hard though. Wouldn't be able to stop you going down a hill if you had any speed. There have been complaints about the latch breaking when you lift it when it's folded, so I've been very careful not to put all the weight on the latch when lifting. I haven't had problems with it, but I could see how that could break if you weren't careful. The stroller folds up very easily (took a little getting used to though), and the handlebars adjust easily, which makes it very easy to fit in the trunk and adjust for height. That's very important because I'm both fairly tall (6') and when I'm on rollerblades I get another 4". My wife is much shorter so the handlebars have a large comfort range. Next up is the storage area. No water bottle holder, but the storage base is very nice. It both has velcro for quick in and out and a zipper if you wanted to seal the whole thing up. Worth the price, using it every day! ... show more

  • Hands down the best double jog stroller on the market
Style: Double Color: Black
This is the best double job stroller on the market, hands down. My wife and I researched and tried similar products from Baby Jogger and BOB, and while the competition has similar features, the quality of the Thule stroller made it stand out. The hand brake is easy and natural to use, the wheels are as smooth as butter, the storage beneath is large enough to hold our diaper bag and it zips up! The seats are comfortable and large enough for our very tall almost three year old. If there was one thing I would recommend changing, it would be the depth of the seats. That's one thing that BOB has on this stroller. Our son is very tall and I wonder how long he'll fit in this stroller as the seats don't sit back very far so his head touches the canopy when he's sitting all the way up. We thought that may be a deal breaker, but after trying out the others, the quality of this one made our decision to keep it easy. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Great jogging stroller
Style: Single Color: Black
Love this stroller! I’ve been using it for several years first with my 4 year old and now with my 18 month old. It’s so easy to push and is a very smooth ride for the passenger. It is on the heavier side and a little cumbersome to get in and out of the car on a daily basis — but with the rear wheels taken off it is reactively compact. I would definitely recommend. Thule also provides an excellent warranty!! ... show more

  • If you’re on the fence, just buy it!
Style: Double Color: Black
So, I did hours and hours of research looking for a double stroller for my girls who are 18 months apart. They are in the smaller percentile for weight and height, but healthy. I was worried about all the reviews regarding shallow seats. My girls fit just fine right now. We purchased the chicco adapter too, and we love it. My two year old enjoys riding in the stroller. We used it in the house for fun before taking it outside today. The ride is smooth and it turns on a dime. I was considering purchasing the city select double stroller and uppababy vista double but I looked through many articles and they all started that this was the best stroller for our needs (hills, daily walks, leisure outings). I am so glad that we purchased this stroller and definitely see it as money well spent. You can tell it’s made with quality materials. My daughter spilled yogurt on it today (of course) and I was able to wipe it off easily with plain water. I am looking forward to using it every morning and evening for our walks and also when we go out! So happy with our purchase! ... show more

  • Good, but... not
Style: Single Color: Black
All in all, great stroller for running. Love that it’s small, works as a running stroller and an everyday stroller, looks good, sleek, Cons: - Material should be better quality for the price you pay. The sun shield should be fully taught but it sort of comes loose when you run and this bothers my ocd self. For the price, they need to upgrade the material. - the little peekaboo looker thinger doesn’t stay open. Would be an easy fix to add a couple magnets to have it stay open. - a few reviews mention this but there is a bit of a design flaw with how much the seat can be elevated. It’s highest point is obviously just an awkward angle and my kid is always lifting his head a bit forward because he doesn’t want to lead back to that awkward height. I really wish they would change that. Pros: - glides amazing, is sturdy, is small but sooooo sleek. We initially had another stroller that was one of those three in ones and this thing is hands down way better. We love it’s besides the con points above. ... show more

  • Best in class for jogging strollers
Style: Double Color: Black
This is my second Urban Glide. I also bought the single when my first child was born. What the Thule Urban Glide has better than other jogging strollers at this price point is the handlebar breaks. Although I haven’t used the other similarly priced jogging strollers outside of a show room, I can tell you that this feature alone is the reason to go with Thule. When you’re running downhill and want to slow the stroller to match your pace or need to stop on a dime, the handlebar breaks add an extra dimension of safety for you and your passengers. The strollers in this higher price point seem to all have good suspension and tires that can be inflated for a smooth ride. Like other strollers, the Thule has a front wheel that can be locked in place for faster running speeds or unlocked for easy turns or uneven ground. My single Urban Glide was decent at going on soft trails but I haven’t tried that with the double yet. I also have used a single Graco jogging stroller when I visit family out of state, and it handles really well at a fraction of the price. Moreover the Graco comes with a built in tray for the little passenger AND doesn’t need an additional carseat adapter. These higher end strollers make you buy those separately! However, to get those extra bells and whistles that make a longer run/walk more enjoyable, you’ll probably look at the pricier jogging strollers. And if you do, and you’re convinced you want to spend about double the price of a Graco, go ahead and get the Urban Glide. It’s the best. ... show more

  • Impressed so far, some cons Impressed so far, some cons
Style: Double Color: Black
Just got it, but so far pretty impressed. Wanted to review to share a few things I wish I would’ve seen to make my decision easier. Cons: -looks like taller toddlers will size out of this stroller pretty fast. Mine isn’t even two yet and you can see how he fits. Great for now. -the shades are just not as covering as some others. We live in a sunny climate and will have to be diligent with sunscreen/some other shade cover in the summer/sunniest of times. -the Thule infant insert is a joke. Saw it at a local store, and glad we did. I had already bought the Bumbleride insert and we figured out that it worked great in the Thule, I’d recommend that 10x over thule’s and would consider aftermarket products next. -doesn’t come with ANY accessories -I also thought the Thule parent console was junky (the way it attaches is cantilevered?!) I got a regular one which is great since the handlebar is angled (you can use a single stroller caddy instead of needing to buy a double one). So this is sort of a pro! -why only black? -the peekaboo windows have that crap plastic that always eventually cracks and looks yellow. I might cut it out, because it also has netting, which is confusing. Pros: -so much sleeker than other double strollers…no exposed springs, shocks, etc. -our toddler seemed a lot more comfortable than the single Bob alterrain we have. I’m not sure if it’s cushier or a better angle or both. -love a 3 piece buckle much better than a 5 piece like the bobs and bumblerides. -sooo easy to push! I can’t wait until I can run with this thing. -with an insert, this thing can definitely work for a newborn (not for running, but for walking). -it’s definitely lighter and easier to fold than the others we considered. -basket is fairly large and has a cover…for being in crowded spaces, this will make me feel better about putting a purse down there. ... show more
