The bag is lightweight and can hold a spare set of shoes in a separate compartment. I think it’s a great flight carryon option for 2-3 days of clothes depending on what you need to pack. I def think it’s perfect for a short business trip. The laptop sleeve that is included is easily removable so you could take that out and put the bag in the overhead compartment. It would also work fine for a non-flight option but considering the price you could probably get something a lot cheaper like a duffel for a weekend drive. Usually, once I get a bag I have a few items I wish they did differently. This time I had no ideas on how to improve the design. It is light, slips easily onto the handle of my roller bag and has nice interior compartments.

Love the colors and love the design. Was really hoping the laptop sleeve would accommodate a 17 inch laptop. I can't use a smaller computer and couldn't find any information about the sleeve size that came with this backpack. It states on the hangtag for the bag that it accommodates 15 inch laptops. The laptop area of the bag is plenty large enough. Just wish Thule had made the sleeve just a tiny bit larger and it would have accommodated all laptop sizes!! UGGGHHH!!! I am keeping the backpack and just not going to be able to use the sleeve. The compartment in the back is plenty big enough. Just frustrated with a lack of info on this issue so I decided to write this post. Especially for people like me who wanted a good looking backpack to accommodate a larger computer. This was clearly a second. The zipper stitching is uneven, as shown in the picture. It’s unfortunate that I can’t do anything about it because I work off shore on a oil tanker and I’m not willing to send it back and take the time as I am only in port one every two weeks at best. I only do business straight with the company that stands by there products. It was a new product, but clearly a second. That Thule would never sell they have quality inspections for this type of thing. Not to mention the zipper on the backpack is one of most important part of the backpack. I recently purchased my Thule Subterra for a trip to Iceland and London. I lucked out and got one that was Used - Like New. When I opened the box I imagined that the bag would be much bigger. Don't judge the book by the proverbial cover, though. I was VERY pleased with how much it could hold. The only reason why I had to bring another bag with me on my trip was because we went on an Ice Cave tour and I needed to bring my cold-weather gear. Otherwise, I could have done the week-long trip with only my Subterra. I also love the tech bag that comes with it. It has become my new computer bag for work.
