I used this thru axle to swap out the one on my Cannondale Synapse which only had a fixed lever. The Rapilock has a clever lever that is pulled out for installation and removal and slides back into the axle making it very "aero". This one weighed 10g less than the original one so that's a bonus as well. The instructions are super simple to follow and getting your semi-custom axle assembled is a breeze. I wanted a thru axle that I did not need a wrench to remove, for ease and speed of removing front wheel for transport etc. THIS was perfect and has multiple setups for different thread pitches, and axle length, and tappered or conical end.
