I am impressed with the quality of this comforter. It's 100% cotton with a 1200 thread count. I'm convinced those squares have a lot to do with the comfort. The feathers stay inside. I've had so many down comforters that had the feathers coming through the stitching. I haven't woke a day where I saw feathers. It came vacuum packed. 10 or 15 minutes in the dryer helps to fluff it out. This is so lightweight that you don't feel the comforter on you. Having this helps me to sleep like a baby. I don't want to get out if my bed in the mornings. $129 is a small price to pay to invest in a good night's sleep. ... show more

Very cozy, soft, cool to the touch, not heavy. Absolutely love it. Great quality for the price. Gave it 4 stars cause it doesn’t come in other colors. Really didn’t want white but after reviewing what I was looking for it seemed to only come in white.

When I first got this comforter, I would have given it less stars. It was wrinkly, and I was considering taking it to a giant laundromat dryer to try to fluff it. As it turned out, I never got around to doing that, and the wrinkles disappeared over a few weeks as the comforter got puffier. Comfy and soft to sleep with, the color is perfect and fits my king sized bed perfectly. I suppose if it every gets worn looking, I'll just use the tabs to put inside a duvet cover. ... show more

We got rid of our last down comforter because all the fill eventually collected to one spot and it was very old. This new comforter is very nice. The fabric feels soft and clean. The fill is evenly distributed. The comforter brings added warmth, but is not so thick that it's overwhelming or too hot. It allows good air flow and feels like we're in a hotel bed. I read that this would be be shrink-wrapped, so the fact that it was wrinkled out of the box wasn’t a surprise. In fact, a lot of my down bedding is usually mailed that way. I noticed the size wasn’t marked/checked off on the package, and I didn’t see it labeled on the comforter either - unless I missed it on a tag. Thankfully, it fit our king size bed perfectly. The light gray was also exactly as pictured. The stitching looked good upon initial inspection, and I didn’t notice loose threads or anything out of the normal. There were a couple small pieces of feather here and there, but that was to be expected. The overall quality looks nice. The description lists this as a comforter and duvet insert, but I don’t typically like to put anything over my down comforters, so no duvet covers. I did notice this was a bit thin at first, but it did start to fluff up, especially after I tossed it around for a bit with my hands. It does note that you can tumble dry it on low heat for 15 minutes. I’ll have to go back to see if I can find washing instructions. For now, I plan to spray it with some de-wrinkler, then toss it in the dryer to see if that helps. I was a little disappointed to find it to be so crinkly and stiff, definitely not as soft as the old down comforter I was replacing. Perhaps it’ll soften up after I wash it (assuming I can). It definitely feels durable, so maybe it’ll hold up better over time and I’ll end up getting a lot of use out of it. One thing I do like is that it’s really warm. I live in New England, so nothing will be warm enough where I won’t need an electric blanket, but this is definitely warmer than most comforters I have. I’ve ordered MULTIPLE down comforters from Amazon and NONE of them compare to this! Right out the packaging I knew this was the right one. It’s soooo thick and plush, I followed the directions to put in the dryer for 10 mins on fluff and when I pulled it out it was even fluffier.
