We have washed them 8 times now and they have been great so far. They breathe enough that you don't feel humid but they keep you warm if the a/c cools things down a bit too much. They feel thick when you pinch them. They are easy to tell the inside from the outside and the bottom sheet fits either way and stays on just fine. We have a sleep number bed with the 5 inch foam topping and no problem with fitting that. We also like that they are wider than our last set of sheets and drape over the side more. At night you are way less likely to have your partner pull the sheets off of you. I think they feel soft and slick. You can't catch a nail on them because the fabric weave is so tight. Some of the complaints about the sheets feeling coarse make me wonder if they have the same product... We'll see how they do over the coming years. :) ... show more

After doing some research on long-staple cotton versus extra-long staple cotton, Pima cotton, Threadmill, reading reviews, etc. I took a chance and spent some extra money on these 1200 thread count sheets. Here are my thought so far: Totally appreciate the reusable bag, along with the ethics / manufacturing process achieved by Threadmill. Great to support a US company! Right out of the package, the thickness and softness were pleasantly surprising! Despite the grammatically challenged card thanking me for my purchase, it was becoming clear that these were quality sheets. They washed up fine with little to no loss of material (lint). Putting the Threadmill sheets and pillow cases on the bed, I was happily surprised by the fact that they’d been generous with their material - plenty of room without being baggy. Too many times I’ve purchased higher-end sheets where the pillow cases barely fit over my (regular sized) pillows, and the fitted sheets barely fit around my (regular-sized) mattress. In my opinion a company should not be scrimping on quality after a certain price point, and Threadmill did not disappoint here. Since I’ve only been using them for a week, I can’t attest to longevity. However, the quality is definitely there, so I expect they’ll last until I get sick of the color haha. Speaking of which: One area of improvement (other than running that welcome card past a spell-checker) would be for Threadmill to add a few more colors to their 1200 line. I for one would buy them. So, 5-stars all around... except I didn’t leave a star review for “wrinkle-free” - can’t say as I have ever paid attention to that in my life. Do people out there iron their sheets? We are fussy about sheets. We like the thicker, all cotton type that are also on the crisper and stiffer end of the spectrum. We find the thinner wrinkle-free blends to be too too hot and "sticky" for sleep. These sheets exceeded our expectations in every way! The cool, crisp feel is axactly what we like. Price is also fair, we have spent more than this for comparible sets like Wamsutta. Highly recommend and we would buy again. ... show more

I really like these sheets. They are much thicker than other sheets I have purchased, very luxurious. They make great wintertime bedding. The only negative is, as I have said, their narrowness. Note, these are 100% cotton, if you don't like wrinkled sheets you will need to iron them. Me; I am not going to let a few wrinkles stop me from enjoying these great sheets. ... show more

I had never really owned great sheets. I was raised thinking sheets were all pretty much the same and interchangeable. What a world of difference these sheets make. My old sheets were 100% cotton - thin and practical but nothing special. They got old and a bit worn, so I decided to upgrade. After doing a lot of research, these stood out as 1200 thread count sheets within my modest range of affordability. Made in the USA was also a major incentive since almost every other set was imported and virtually none of the decent looking ones seemed to exceed 1000 thread count. So these sheets are THICK, yet stay cool to the touch even when the room is warm. This is a wonderful and new feeling for me. I'm a picky sleeper who is often prone to getting too hot while trying to fall asleep. These sheets have probably helped me get some of my best sleeping experiences to date. These sheets are also very soft and feel almost silky, yet possess the firmness and stability of cotton. It's definitely a unique feeling for me and a bit of a revelation. I did not know cotton could be like this. The sheet fits nicely on my Queen size bed. There was some excess material along the bottom, but the sheet has been easy to tuck in and never seems to shift. Good fit. Having pillowcases in this set definitely helped since I'm able to enjoy the same comfort with them as the rest of the set. These help keep my head comfortable and cool while sleeping. The set includes a flat sheet which I use as an Autumn blanket. This has proven one of the set's biggest perks. As expected, it is thicker than most flat sheets yet much thinner than a padded sheet. Because it is also breathable, it does a great job at keeping me cool but not too cool. Surprisingly effective temperature control. Finally, my sheets have an Ivory color. I picked that because... I prefer Ivory. The color looks good and doesn't overwhelm. It's subtle and tasteful. I imagine other color sheets from the manufacturer would work just as well. Overall, it's a bit hard to describe just how much I like this sheet set. It was very much an investment for me but I figured with how much time one spends in bed sleeping, it only makes sense to go for a better product. This set outperformed my expectations. This is by far the best sheet set I've come across and it's helped me get better nights' sleeps. Which is to say I'm very happy with the set and would definitely recommend it to anyone else who could justify the cost, especially for anyone who may be used to more standard bedding like I was. ... show more
