However, I have an add-on freestanding thread spool with a thread loop that extends 2-3" above the threading area of my machine. This thread, using the freestanding thread holder works great. Got the neon yellow and the aqua color threads. Both are literally the same color they appear on the picture! Wonderful quality and absolutely love! I am very pleased with the thread overall. I have only had two incidents with it. Most serious was a whole big wad of thread coming off one of the spools into my hand. It took quite awhile to straighten out the mess and I lost about a fourth of the thread. The other problem was very minor; there was a short stretch on one spool where the thread separated and broke.
