The 1st night went well but if our impression changes after they're laundered multiple times, I'll update this review. NOTE: Before ordering I used dimensions from the web site to see how our queen pillows would fit. That led me to order this item in king size because a bit large is better than just big enough, especially with possible shrinkage.

These Egyptian cotton pillow cases feel so soft and luxurious! They fit my pillows perfectly. My only complaint is that they wrinkle VERY easily and are a massive pain to steam or iron out once the wrinkles set. My advice, take them out of the dryer IMMEDIATELY when you hear it shut off and either lay them flat or put them directly on your pillows.

These are very nice sheets. They are soft and have a silky feel. The seams are well made and the total effect is one of very high quality. It is a significant upgrade to the forty-dollar ones we got at a large retailer. White sheets mean keeping them on the bed for the shortest possible interval before washing, so these will need to endure many washes, but I believe they will hold up to it, as they have been good so far with this treatment. The only issue I have is the price. Yes, they are nice. Yes, they are comfortable, but they will need to last more than four-to-five years worth of use to overcome the price difference from the cheaper sheets. I think they might in the end last that long, but it is hard to justify the upfront expense for me. That said, they are a very luxury feel, and if you value your sleep quality, these are likely a purchase well made. I'm sure their longevity is less an issue than the comfort for many people. If comfort is your goal, these will not disappoint.

👋💬 INTRO: I occasionally need new pillowcases, it’s just a fact. I like the previous ones I’ve bought and they’ve served me well after so many nights and washings, but there’s always new technologies and features coming out in new pillowcase offerings which I wanted to check out. I always get stopped by the phrases “100% Egyptian Cotton” and “high thread count” and I guess I’ve somewhat been conditioned to look for one or both of those phrases when shopping for a new pillowcase. I generally know what it means without truly knowing what it means until I experience it. So when I saw these pillowcases were also “breathable” (another important feature to me), I had to check them out. • 📦 So, what’s in the package? ◦ 📋 1 x Set of 2 King-Bed Sized 100% Egyptian Cotton Pillow Cases • 📣 Tell me about it & 👀 WHAT DO I THINK? 🧠 (My first thoughts & impressions) ◦ 📰 These arrived in an orange, yellow, and white box with the brand name, description, and features shown on the outside of the box. Inside, the pillowcases were not wrapped in anything but were paired and folded together. In-between the sheets was a long, rectangular paper door hangtag with a thank you message from the manufacturer. The sheets were clean, very smooth and soft, had a nice white color, and were very generously-sized for a king-size pillow. I could see and feel the quality of the construction and all of the very neat stitching, and the fabric itself had a good weight and thickness to it, and this is what I prefer in a pillowcase anyway. ◦ 📰 I washed and used these the very first night they arrived and could tell definitely the difference from my old set: these were a treat and certainly a bit heavier and more luxurious, silkier, smoother, softer, and somehow a little cooler too (and I could tell because I am a hot sleeper). ◦ 📰 The brand’s attention to detail is evident in the quality construction and neat stitching of the pillowcases, which I never really pay that close attention to usually. Their size and fit were perfect for me and my pillows. Now I wonder if my pillows are worthy of them… ☺ 👍👎 IS IT WORTH IT? (What’s the value for the money) • 💰 I don’t think I could have beaten this price for the quality, high thread count, and fantastic softness that I got. These are a great value. • 💰 Compared to others, these pillowcases excel in attention to detail in their construction, quality of the fabric, comfort, and durability, making them a worthwhile investment to me. 📊⚙️ PERFORMANCE & USER FRIENDLINESS (Did it work & was it easy to use) • 🧐 There’s no maintenance other than machine washing and drying them. I simply did that then slipped them onto my pillows right before I went to bed for the night. • 🧐 The fabric was a delightful combination of smoothness and breathability, which is a happy relief for someone like me who tends to overheat at night. • 🧐 The “envelope closure” gave me a snug fit, and the reversible design added versatility to my bedding. • 🧐 These pillowcases are designed to resist pilling, fading, and shrinkage. They did retain their vibrant color and shape after one wash and are supposed to continue that trend. However, they do and will wrinkle slightly due to the natural properties of cotton, and that’s ok with me. 🔑✨ KEY FEATURES PROs & CONs (What did I like & dislike) • ✔️ The high thread count and sateen weave of the Egyptian cotton created a pillowcase that has a silky-smooth texture, great for a luxurious-like (my) sleep experience. • ✔️ They are generously sized to fit king-size pillows with ease, and the neat stitching for a perfect fit and elegant feel, adding to their durability. • ✔️ I think that the heavyweight and opulent feel of the pillowcases resemble those found in 5-star hotel bedding. • ✔️ I mean, come on. High-quality breathable, soft fabric, good size, great construction, and machine washable? That’s a winning combination to me. I am glad I got these! • ❌ While they’re labeled as shrink-resistant, the only downside is they do wrinkle a bit after washing, but I could easily iron them or use those dryer balls if I needed to. 🔍✅ SUMMARY & CONCLUSION: These pillowcases were a great find and have been a fantastic addition to my bedroom. I always judge the next set of pillowcases I get to my current (and soon to be previous) ones, and I am glad I could tell and appreciate the difference with these and how well-made they are. I was impressed with how soft and comfortable they are and I adore them. They certainly check a lot of boxes with the standard AND premium features I look for in a pillowcase. After all, considering that I’ve heard and read that the average person spends a great of time and a lot of their life sleeping, it follows that it should be a comfortable and positive experience. Sleep bedding and accessories are always an individual and personal experience based on your own experiences and preferences. So for me, finding these was greatly beneficial and rewarding. I highly recommend giving these a try. If you’re in search of premium pillowcases that offer comfort and a hint of luxury, then treat yourself to upgraded comfort and indulge in the softness of these worthwhile Egyptian cotton pillow cases.
