We didn't keep this one. The top was very loose and definitely not for the age recommendation. The shorts were awkward and just kind of fell down. The head wrap wouldn't stay on. Overall, it just wasn't a good fit.

This review is for the Thorn Tree summer baby girl outfit set in green. It’s an adorable little outfit and a sweet choice for a newborn gift. The set includes a soft onesie, matching shorts, a small belt detail, and a coordinating headband. The onesie itself is very soft and appears to be well made. The seams are neatly finished with no loose threads or excess serger tails, and the stitching looks solid overall. The shorts are cute, though the fabric feels a bit on the scratchier side compared to the softness of the onesie. My main concern was the presentation when it arrived. The outfit came somewhat disassembled in the packaging—the small belt was not threaded through the shorts, and the headband bow was completely untied. Since I purchased this for a coworker’s baby shower gift, I had to spend some time reassembling everything to make it look neat and presentable. Tying the small bow to look as tidy as the manufacturer’s version can be a bit tricky. I ordered this outfit for our 3-month-old granddaughter in the 3–6 month size. It definitely fits more like a true 6 months, so she can’t wear it just yet. That said, it’s perfect for summertime and she’ll still be able to wear it in a couple of months since the material isn’t heavy. The colors are beautiful and match the photos.
