I've bought Thorlo brand socks numerous times over the past 12 years. I've tried different styles and always loved the way the fit and felt. This paticular style was very disappointing. After a short period of time of having them on they start to slide down my legs towards my ankles. I call these socks " sleepers". Lol! Any ways I'll still continue to by the Thorlo brand. These socks are well padded and comfortable. However, they are not really boot socks as described. They barely come above the boot line and at the first wearing have the tendency to already creep down the leg. I love Thorlos but would not order this again unless you needed a padded crew sock for something EXCEPT BOOTS. ... show more

These socks, advertised as specifically designed for ropers, are a real disappointment because the padded bottom part is very, very comfortable - but the tops slide down. The whole point of boot socks is that they stay up on your calf so your boots don't rub against your skin. These fail, and they're barely high enough to put over the tops of the boots. ... show more
