Purchased Thor HRE 3601 March 2022, Nice range and oven and “looks” like a quality build. I particularly liked the layout of the range burners with both larger higher power rings in the front right and left with a smaller warming ring in the middle. The issue has been parts and service. The unit was received with some cosmetic damage, I needed the oven, so I just called in the claim and began using the unit. I received a call from Thor to set up an appointment, but I was out of town at the time, I was told to call back when I was ready. Oven broke in September, tried to get a service tech to schedule warranty work as well as the cosmetic fix. We spent a week trying to confirm my original claim…it was never found or approved. We moved on to the fact the the oven wasn’t working. It’s now coming up to December and I’m still waiting for a technician I’m fairly handy and believe the problem to be the oven burner element. I called the parts department (they are a pretty helpful group) and purchased an element from them directly, the first one was the wrong part but after the second attempt I fixed the problem, and the oven was working. While I am still waiting for a technician to service the oven it stopped working again in late November. This time it heats to max of 250 degrees. I’m guessing that the issue is the oven thermostat or the probe. Called Service again but also tried to just order the part…not available. Spent the next 8 hours trying to find parts by Manufacturer, OEM or even the individual parts supplier, its just not available in the USA. This oven is sold on Amazon, available at Lowes and Home Depot and many major appliance retailers, but parts are impossible to obtain. Home Depot, who sells this oven and has a pretty vast parts network could not help me. I’m not located in the middle of nowhere. The oven is physically located in Cape May, NJ , easy access to NYNY, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington markets. No-one will service this unit and parts are a real issue. I run a small B&B and need a working oven. I am considering just giving up and buying an alternative to put this one at the curb or sell it for parts on eBay. I will never buy another Thor Kitchen product again. Just got a text from Thor, they are still looking for a service provider with Thor expertise

Nothing but problems with this stove and oven. Even Thor and their customer service was poor at best. We’ve had a burner that went out multiple times and it took forever to try to get it fixed. They finally fixed it, but then it burned out again and then some of the LED lights burned out as well on the handles. And this is all while the stove was still under warranty. Now that it’s about three months out of warranty, the burners are failing again one of the burners do not light up the other ones don’t regulate the temperature right. It takes forever to get a hold of Thor to see what we can do. Don’t buy don’t buy don’t buy.

Range heats up fairly quickly and overall looks nice. Takes a long time for the fan to cool down the range and is pretty loud. The biggest issue is within the first 2 years of ownership, different heating elements have stopped working 3 separate times. Each time; the repair process takes weeks to months and I’ve had to go periods of time without being able to use the range and stove top. For a $3,000 product I would expect more. Thor has made no attempt to make this right by providing a non-defective stove. Would not recommend.

We purchased our Thor range 2 years ago and regret it immensely. We have had so many issues and are already looking to purchase a new range. One of the front burners has gone out, one of the burner lights refuses to turn off so it’s just always lit up, one of the knobs broke and required an expensive replacement, we had to have several repair people come out to fix issues with the oven. I wouldn’t waste your money!

We purchased this oven from Amazon. Delivery went perfect, item description was accurate, and we liked the look of the oven. We plugged it in and the exhaust fan made a shrieking sound and wouldn't shut off. We had to pull it out of the wall and unplug the oven to get it to stop. I contacted Thor because it was a manufacturer warranty issue and their customer service was terrible. The first rep told me I had to go to the website and wouldn't help me enter a ticket. Then I entered a ticket but didn't have the serial number since this is at our second home but they wouldn't even open a ticket without the serial number. I had to pay someone to go to the house and get it. Then when I provided the serial number they ignored my phone calls asking for updates and when they finally did respond, they subcontracted out the warranty work to a company in KY, who emailed me and told me I would have to find my own contractor to do the repairs. I called at least 10 companies and as soon as I said Thor they refused to look at it because they said Thor withholds payments and is difficult to work with. So I have a stove broken right out of the box, a manufacturer who did nothing to make it right (or even apologize for the issue), and an industry that refuses to work on their products. DO NOT BUY A THOR BRAND APPLIANCE!

We decided to purchase this high end oven thinking it would be a great investment for years to come. A burner stopped working after less than one month of use. We've had continuous issues with this oven. The oven does not cook evenly and I currently have no working front stove burners. I have tried to reach out and get help multiple times and even called the warranty company and gotten the run around and now I've spent hard earned money on a range that doesn't work. This company has done nothing to make it right. This is completely unacceptable.
