(All of the following are good qualities, to be clear.) The toe is a little short, but my toes are just barely resting on the tip of the boot when my socks are on. These are SNUG. I need to step into them or else my heel gets caught. Once they were on, though, the boa coil tightened no problem and they hugged my feet nicely. These boots are pretty rigid, which surprised me. They look kind of like the cheap snow boots I got at the dollar store as a kid, but that’s where the similarities end. They have enough flex to help with maneuvering, but by no means to these bend. I was also worried that the materials would be super cheap (and they very well might be), but these are sturdy and seem to be unbothered by my own clumsiness. I got the heel caught/pinched in my high back (how I ended up losing the entire sole of my last boot) and the boot just took everything with it when I tried to step up. 🤣 I also have wide feet, which has always made boots hard to get in general. I was very nervous ordering my exact boot size and was even still nervous that the boots would be too narrow when I took them out of the box. Nope. No issues at all. If anything, the length of the boot was my only concern. I walked around last night in these and was testing out my stance—forgot I was testing the boots by the end. My only real criticism of these boots is that the loops for the boa string feel a little weak and can sometimes get caught as you tighten. The very bottom of the cord got jammed up on one boot and it tightened the top super tight, but left the toes loose. I mean…I just loosened the whole boot and tugged up the cord like regular laces before screwing the boa, and that solved it. Because my other equipment failed when I was last on the mountain, I’ll have to update after I’ve given these a full test ride. So far they’ve been my easiest boot purchase ever! ... show more

    • Boa mechanism broken
I was really excited for these boots, but unfortunately the Boa mechanism on the right boot didn't work. No matter how many times throughout the day I turned and turned the dial, the laces would not stay tight.

Good quality for the price, however SIZE UP. A whole size even. I am normally a size 8, got an 8.5 and toes were still very cramped. Wore less than a handful of times with no improvement. BOA functions fine, they look nice, and the price is GREAT. Feet were never cold, which is apparently a concern to Amazon. ... show more

You’d be better off putting your foot in a plastic bag. These boots fall apart first ride and don’t have any quality to them any longer. They used to manufacture them to last up to 4 seasons. Not anymore they plan to fail at the end of the first season. Thanks
