Got this for my mom’s birthday because the cover literally says “Things I need to write down because I’m old and I forget stuff”—and honestly, same. She loved it, laughed at it, and immediately started jotting down her grocery list and the name of the neighbor’s cat. Mission accomplished. Accidentally ordered two of them, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. One copy had a little ink smudge on the first page—nothing catastrophic, just annoying if you’re a perfectionist about your paper goods. Luckily, the second one was flawless, so Mom got the pristine version, and I kept the “character edition” for myself. The journal has a decent amount of pages, perfect for notes, reminders, or random doodles when you’re procrastinating. It’s not some fancy leather-bound heirloom, but it does the job and gets a laugh every time someone sees the cover. Overall: 4 stars. Would’ve been 5 if I didn’t have to play eeny-meeny-miny-moe with ink smudges. Still worth it for the laughs and usefulness. ... show more
