I have replaced many 4 x 4 pressure tree fence post with concrete and decided to give this a try on two post that were leaning much to my surprise, I found the Steel to be structurally strong, and the design to well the post to be secured. This over delivered - super sturdy U shaped heavy gauge steel, (other brands were not U shaped), it came with screws plus an extra screw (in case I lost one? 😁) , appropriate drill bit to pre-drill holes and an adapter for my drill for the hex screws that had a magnet in it to better hold the screws. This was way above what I expected. Easy to use, made the loose fence post totally stable! 5 ⭐️ Excellent

Bought 2 pack first one broke so spent 2 days digging spike end out of a very small area so I could wiggle and pull out broken piece from ground manually. So that left me with one stake which went in okay, better than the first defective stake. But then the drill bit broke when making starter hole into wood post and did not come with the bit to tighten the screws. Very disappointed for the cost. Updated 5/30/24-updated to 4 stars (not 5 only bc of the issue I had in the first place) But after letting customer service know about the issue with my second post that broke in the ground while installing it they really went out of their way to make it right. They immediately offered me a refund for the order AND sent me a new post. As well as told me they’d like to send me other new products to review. Their communication was top of the line, something I don’t experience all that often these days. I’m very pleased with their customer service. I can also say I have now successfully secured my broken 6ft fence post with this item and topped off with concrete (only bc I had to cut away a bunch of concrete it to get the broken metal piece out) without difficulty. We’ve even had some very windy days since then and it hasn’t budged one bit! I’m very pleased with this outcome. I would definitely recommend this product again especially based on their customer support and how they stand behind their product. Thanks Evelyn for making sure I got refunded and the new IRONBARBIE fence repair kit! We need more customer service representatives like you!!

Great product! These wooden fence post supports work perfectly. My project required me to "drill enlarge" the holes slightly to accommodate the 1/4" dia hex lags I used. I also used a 6" long 2"X4" to bang my mallet on to keep the support metal looking good. My four loose posts are now sturdy finally without replacing them. Very cost effective.

I was pleased with how easy it was to use this product, especially that it included everything needed to attach the brace to the fence post. Seems sturdy and well made. Just installed it, so I'm hoping it can hold up to some high winds. Appreciated receiving follow up from the vendor to be sure the product was received and no issues.

Before buying, I compared the weight on these to a number of other similar items and found that these were nearly twice as heavy as many others. That was my starting point and I’m glad I took the time to look for that because these fence post stabilizers are rock solid and they installed in less than 5 minutes each. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend this product despite the fact that it was more expensive than just about every other one I compared it to. The heft of these made a real difference when hammering them into the ground and affixing them to the fence posts. These get My highest recommendation if your fence posts were shaky like mine were.

I built a fence 30 years ago to keep the kids and dogs in the backyard. Iused the best materials; treated lumber, cedar fencing and set each post in concrete. Overtime and with wet weather, even the best fence is going tio lose a post or two and I have replaced a number of them over the intervening years. The general method was to dig up the concrete, sometimes using an engine lift, and resetting a new post. It was back-breaking work which took generally two days. I figured there had to be a better way to do this and I found these fence post repair stakes. Let me tell you, they work. These are of solid construction, with the actual stake long enough to go out over the lip of the concrete I set and deep enough to prevent any movement. I can still use the orginal post saving even more money. I have been putting one on each side of the post, which makes it even more stable. I will be purchasing several more to keep on hand as I know I will always have a post to fix at some point. Again, this is a great product!
