These are versatile. Strong enough for a whip, but still versatile (adjustable) for a lightbar or anything else you want to mount to your rig. Fire extinguisher holder? Good. Water can? Check. I might even be tempted to mount a spare tire, using two of them, if I didn't already have it mounted in the bed of my side-by-side. The inserts serve not only to size these for use on a different-sized roll cage bars, but the plastic also adds grip strength. Metal on metal tends to slip, but plastic or rubber on metal tends to grip. Also nice is the multiple-lug-style joint that allow us to pivot these to a position where they'll stay put. I have many mounts from many manufacturers, and these are among the best.

We used these to mount different lighting features onto our quad and they worked great, they were adjustable to fit where we needed it to, and they'd definitely be good for other applications too. Very sturdy fit so far and hasn't loosened naturally like other products I've tried in the past.

The smooth finish and black color give them a sleek and professional appearance. My only minor gripe is with the silver bolts; I would have preferred black bolts to maintain a stealthy look. These are very sturdy, originally I intended to hold a light bar but ended up using these for whips. The older brackets that came with the whips I have were not very sturdy and would rotate. I planted these on the top bar and problem solved. These do a great job at gripping the roll bar to the extend that I dont think they would give way if I ran my whips under a low over head obsticle. Takes just seconds to mount, comes with all the hardware needed including the proper Allen wrench to get the job done.

The construction feels very solid and to tight tolerances. The L bracket that you mount things to is held onto the clamp with a screw and the plate has a gear tooth design inside which will prevent any slipping out of place but could also prevent mounting on some roll cages or things with unique angles. 1 star off for Rando Brandnamian.
