  • Who knew??
There’s a learning curve with the first RV. Water was one of those things. After each trip we ran the faucets until the tank was empty. Or so we thought. Turns out it’s very important to pull the plug draining the tank from below AND pull the plug to empty the water heater. We didn’t. Pretty soon our water smelled very nasty. We put bleach into the tank, drove it around to slosh it around. Still nasty. I did some research and found this product so I bought it. Followed the directions and now our water is fresh as can be. There’s zero scent to our water. Worth every penny to have a clean system. We also bought a “wand thingy” that sprays into the water heater to clean it out right before we used this product. Some sediment came out with that. I think using both this product and the sprayer are both good practices to keep everything clean. ... show more

  • This treatment really worked!
We had tried a number of different solutions to get that rotten egg smell out of the water system in our camper and none of them worked long term. The smell always came back. It takes time and water of course but if you follow the directions to a "T" this will do the trick for you! No more nasty smells in our water system. I will buy this product again should we ever need it. ... show more

  • Use on the fresh water tank of boat
I used this to clean and sanitize the freshwater tank of my boat. Somehow I got some odor in the 30 gal tank even using a capful of bleach. This Sanitizer freshened it right up. Just use as directed. flush system until water shows no foam. Water tank hose been fresh for 6 months now.

  • Good product, but a little taste and foam or a bit.
Used to disinfect our brand new camper water tank. Was easy to use when following instructions. After all said and done it had a little bit of taste for a few tanks of water and did foam up for while but taste and foam went away after a few tanks. We even dumped a full tank after the treatment. Overall good product. I feel that it did a good job cleaning and I would buy it again. ... show more

  • Satisfied.
I tried this. Not sure if it was the better choice over regular chlorine. But I assume it is less harsh than diluting chlorine and damaging the plastic and PVC piping in the motor home. I removed all filtration before using and flushed out several tanks of water before putting back into service. I didn’t notice any chemical smell or foaming in the water afterwards. ... show more

  • Resolved bad taste and odor first time
Purchased camper 3 months ago and water had awful taste and a chemical odor. Did a bleach treatment and NO change. Terrible chemical smell and awful taste. Purchased this kit and used as directed and I am very happy to report the smell is gone and the taste is perfect! Back to drinking water right out of my camper spigots!! Made my used camper purchase seem brand new! Highly recommend. This worked perfectly for me. ... show more

  • Works as advertised
Even after adding extra water and flushing their system we still had that smell that no one wants. This cleaned it completely and though there was a lot of suds coming out at the end it was a clear clean type of suds that shows it was well cleaned and safe to use.
