  • Delicious velvety smooth our new favorite
Flavor Name: Sauna Family Medium Roast Size: 12 Ounce (Pack of 1)
We are trying to cut out pesticides and have made it a goal to try out small batch organic coffee. My order arrived quickly I purchased the Sauna Family blend. First thing I did was to sniff the bag. I was initially a bit concerned as the bag didn't emit much scent, but once I opened it, the aroma was incredible. The beans were impeccably packed and sealed. I’m not sure if it was because it was a drowsy winter Saturday morning or what. But these beans seem more fragrant than others, or perhaps just fresher. As I ground the beans, their fragrance filled the air rousing my sleepy husband. The flavor profile was super smooth with just a hint of the “coffee” bitter it has a sweetness to it devoid of any bite or acidity. We steeped it in the french press and drank it without cream. This blend is medium bodied, delicious and is our new favorite. My husband couldn't resist and he had 3 cups he later jokingly said that he was going to have to cut himself off. As I write this review, he's in the garage replacing our hot water heater. And mentioned that after he’s finished he wanted to replace an exterior light that’s been on the fritz. So it appears to be working well :) ... show more

  • Smells great! Tastes great, not bitter.
Flavor Name: Sauna Family Medium Roast Size: 12 Ounce (Pack of 1)
The media could not be loaded. The packaging has a moisture puck which is good for freshness. Design on the package has an elegant also earthly feel. The coffee beans smell great, have a consistent texture when ground. It does not have a bitter taste, is sweet & bold when brewed.

  • Perfect Medium roast
Flavor Name: Sauna Family Medium Roast Size: 12 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Great quality coffee beans from an incredible source. My French press coffee was smooth and tasty. Perfect medium cup of coffee. Really nice flavors and balanced. I’ll be buying other types from this company now that I’ve had this one.

  • Incredible coffee with a purpose. Worth trying! *Updated*
Flavor Name: Kogi Medium Roast Size: 12 Ounce (Pack of 1)
The media could not be loaded. Of all the reviews of products I've bought through Amazon since 2006, this one is really special. Getting a product that comes from an ancient indigenous community in the mountains of Colombia, really far away from civilization -no energy, no access to supplies, but the purest water and ecosystem you can find- is really incredible and inspiring... just being able to order it now through Amazon is mind-blowing! Just looking at the picture that comes with the coffee makes you look twice... you can't even believe it's a recent photo (it has the date it was taken on in the back). I had tried this coffee before and you don't even have to be too spiritually-focused to actually connect with the story behind it. Really, the Kogi have been in the mountains for longer than anything that surrounds us nowadays. Before a certain guy "discovered" the land where Colombia is today, the Kogi were there. And even before oh-my-God Jesus Christ, the Kogi were there. And even before the dino... well, I can't be sure they were there, but all I know is they've been caring for Mother Earth forever. And you can feel that when you drink their coffee. I'm not sure how it shows, but somehow it does. You just have to try it to believe it. P.S.: The video on their website is worth checking out... you don't see a civilization so pure and untouched every day. February 2024 Update: I ordered the new Sauna Family Medium Roast and it was amazing. It comes from the farm of a single indigenous family and it’s roasted to perfection. Very good results with a V60 with paper filter. Highly recommended. Incredible story behind this coffee. The Younger Brothers coffees have been my choice for a year now! IMPORTANT: The coffee is indeed organic, it doesn’t have a certification badge because the origin is so remote that no one else gets there besides the indigenous. So yes, this is the real organic, wild organic, as organic as coffee can be. Don’t be fooled by customers who don’t get it because they don’t see a badge or a marketing stunt. ... show more

  • Very flavorful coffee
Flavor Name: Kogi Medium Roast Size: 12 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I really enjoy this coffee!!! This is my third time buying it and I plan on getting it on a regular basis. It has rich chocolate notes and is very smooth even though I make it extremely strong. Nice change of pace over other varieties.

  • Best Colombian coffee I've ever had!
Flavor Name: Kogi Espresso Roast Size: 12 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I've purchased Kogi coffee a few times now and I highly recommend it! Why buy from overpriced local markets when you can get the real deal straight from the source. This tribe lives for this coffee. Not only is it just made from passion and heritage. It also tastes incredible! I prefer to make it with a French press. But, I love it as an expresso or drip. ... show more

  • Not terrible, but not great eithr0e
Flavor Name: Kogi Medium Roast Size: 12 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I've made two pots of this coffee, one in a French Press, and one in a standard drip coffee maker. I must say that I've been underwhelmed by both. My overall impression is that it is a somewhat thin and flavorless brew
